Facilities include bathrooms, picnic areas, and picnic areas with grills. With its central location allowing you a quick in and out, you'll be enjoying Lake Michigan in no time. Seasonal and daily launch fees are available, as well as a few transient boat docks that can be rented on a daily basis. Also at Black River Park is a launch site for non-motorized watercraft, such as kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. The Kal-Haven trail, which follows the Black River for some distance, is just a short walk away and offers a scenic, picturesque walking (or biking) tour of South Haven's countryside, complete with berry fields, native wildlife, and serene vistas. Welcome to White Lake Yacht Club White Lake Yacht Club (WLYC) is a membership club located on the south shore of White Lake in Whitehall, Michigan. The club is just minutes away from the White Lake Channel providing easy access to Lake Michigan. WLYC was founded in 1903; the club house was built in 1906 and has been in continuous operation since 1926. WLYC is open to members and their guests from Memorial Day to Labor Day. New memberships are available and prospective members are encouraged to visit the club and learn about the many family oriented activities and events WLYC offers. Liberty Harbor is a public marina just north of Veterans Memorial Bridge. Liberty Harbor is listed as one of 80 certified harbors by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Ottawa Beach Marina, located at 2330 Ottawa Beach Road Holland, MI 49424 The Ottawa Beach Marina is located on the western edge of Lake Macatawa near the city of Holland, MI. The marina is part of the County Parks system and is a located just inside the channel to Lake Michigan and next to Holland State Park. Within walking distance one would find beaches, gift shops, and a small grocery store and restaurant. A kayak launch and bikes will be available free-of-charge. The county park has several fishing piers and within its borders you will find the Pump House Museum.

Four slips will be allocated for tax-paying or resident boat owners. The City also has two commercial seasonal slips. Please fill the form out and return it to the Recreation Department. New applications are placed at the bottom of the list. If the boater is contacted and offered a slip and refuses, they are moved to the bottom of the list. The deposit is also non-refundable when the applicant voluntarily withdraws from the waiting list. Fees The City Council sets the fees on an annual basis. It is conveniently located only 3 miles from downtown Grand Haven by boat and only 4 miles to Lake Michigan. There is a public boat ramp at East Grand River Park which is 0.4 miles away by car, 0.2 miles away by boat. There is no in/out service provided on site. We accommodate various types and sizes of boats ranging from kayaks and small fishing boats, to sailboats, houseboats and even tugboats! Each dock rental includes electricity, water and use of clean restrooms and showers. Off-season boat storage is offered as well on a limited basis, dependent upon available space. Coastal Zone Marina has three main floating docks that are about 75 feet in length. The slips on Dock #2 and Dock #3 are 25 ft in length. The slips in Dock #1 are 30 ft in length. The spacing (width) between each finger dock is 20 ft (allowing for 10ft of width for your boat per slip), with the exception of three slips (Dock #1, Slip 6 / Dock #2, Slip 11 / Dock#3, Slip 11) which are 17ft wide and will accommodate only one boat. The water level is typically 5 to 5.5 ft. Therefore, it is recommended that your boat have a 5 ft draft or less. The river ground is very soft and muddy. Each of the slips can comfortably accommodate boats up to 25 feet in length (or 30 feet in length for the longer slips). Larger vessels can be docked on the outer spaces of the docks (such as spot A in the diagram). Call us if you have a larger boat and we'll see if we can work out a spot for you. If not, we can point out some other nearby marinas that might. We have a total capacity of around 35 boats (depending on actual boat sizes). Boating season is West Michigan is weather dependent. Our marina is owned and operated by the City of Traverse City and governed by the policies of the Michigan State Waterways Commission, a division of the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. All our guidelines follow our grant-in-aid agreement with the Michigan State Waterways Commission and City regulations. In 1933 an Ordinance was enacted by the City Commission to provide for acquiring and constructing a municipal harbor. The City Clerk wrote to the War Department to request a permit to construct a breakwater and boat wells adjacent to Clinch Park. The City Engineer went to Washington D.C. in 1938 to attend a hearing on the breakwater. The hearing was successful and in 1939 the breakwater was built. Traverse City's mayor appointed 5 local men to be on a harbor committee in 1958. In 1960 the City Commission obtained an appropriation from the Waterways Commission to construct a marina. Since there were 2 private marinas - Darrow's and Murray's (older names now obsolete) the intent was to provide boat slips for out of town visitors. The marina was built in 1960-61, and was named Duncan L. Clinch Yacht Harbor.

Leland Harbor is certainly one of the most beautiful harbors in Michigan. Long, sandy beaches stretch North and South of the Harbor, with Whale back Natural Area Bluff framing the southern beach, and the spectacular, protected Clay Cliffs jutting up to the North. On the horizon, you can see North and South Manitou Islands, of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake shore. The water is clear and refreshing for both boating, and swimming. Fishing is great in the Manitou Passage, as Leland is recognized as one of the best fishing ports in Michigan. Leland Harbor is a full-service marina, owned and operated by Leland Township. The Harbor includes a public boat launch, and picnic area. Located next to Historic Fish town ~ shopping, dining, lodging and beaches are just steps away. Plan to launch your boat, or come by sea ~ either way, you are going to love your time on the water in Leland!

This marina is part of the Michigan DNR reservation system, so reservations must be made through the Michigan DNR website. The Lexington State Dock has plenty of transient space with full amenities. The downtown is within walking distance from the marina, and has a quaint shopping district with restaurants, speciality shops, cafes, and entertainment in the summer. Next to the marinas are white sandy beaches and a nice town park. This can be tricky for large boats or keel boats. Do not cut the corner near the Eastern breakwall, it can be very shallow. About 1/4 mile from the harbor inlet parallel to the shoreline. Deep draft boats should stay in the middle of the harbor entrance and bear to port after clearing the entrance. There are sand bars to the east and west of the entrance and to starboard once inside the harbor; the depth at the entrance is about 7-feet. 7-feet or more on the approach. 6-feet at the transient dock, reported to have heavy weeds in August Operating Dates: May 1 - October 1.
