Each traveler is required to have a passport. Children who are traveling without one or either of their parents must have a permission document signed by the absent parent(s). Criminal or felony convictions could cause you to be denied entrance into Canada. If you have had a DUI or DWI conviction within 10 years of your travel date, you may be denied entry into Canada. Please contact a Canadian Consulate for information on the entry application process and fees. The application process could take up to six weeks, so plan accordingly. For travelers passing through Canada to the Angle, there is no limit on the amount of alcohol or tobacco they possess, as long as they declare it properly. You will not be allowed to cross the border with handguns, pepper spray, radar-detecting devices, firewood, or live bait. Is located on the south shore of Minnesota’s famous Lake of the Woods and features a full service bar and restaurant, housekeeping cabins, protected marina, and a host of other amenities. We offer a variety of lodging options, ranging in size from one to four bedrooms. Our cabins and modular home rentals have complete kitchens with utensils, pots and pans, linens, coffee pots, flat screen TV’s and satellite television. Each cabin has a combination of double and twin beds. Weber charcoal grills, fire rings and picnic tables are also at the cabins. Overnight docking is also available to guests for a fee. GREENWOOD MARINA IS THE ONLY MARINA ON LAKE MINNETONKA TO PROVIDE COVERED SLIPS 14BGM134 Our covered slips are a vital component in keeping your boat protected from the sun, rain, and wind. Eliminating the need to constantly struggle with your factory cover, you will save time to and from the marina. Being in a calm, sequestered bay limits the abuse your boat can take from everyday lake traffic and weather. At Greenwood Marina, we provide 107 covered slips ranging in size from 24′ to 36′ in length. Below is information about our covered slips. BOAT SLIP PRICES Slip fees are split into three instalments spread out over a six-month period. Our billing cycle has due dates on November 1st, February 1st, and April 1st. The total slip price includes the frame rental, but not canopy purchase prices. Our gas dock is currently open Monday Through Saturday 9 a.m until 8 p.m, and Sunday 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Our gas dock is located in a no-wake zone just through the St. Alban’s Bay bridge. All our posts have heavy-duty bumpers and dock lines for convenience.

When you stay at Burntside Lodge, you have at your disposal a wide variety of activities. You have the leisure to do as much or as little as you wish. Without a doubt, one of the most attractive aspects of a vacation at Burntside Lodge is that we are located on the southern shore of one of the most beautiful lakes in Northern Minnesota. Spring-fed Burntside Lake is 12 miles from end to end, and holds 10,000 acres of clear blue water studded with over 120 islands of various size. The maximum depth is 126 ft. and water clarity averages around 22 ft. making it one of the cleanest and clearest lakes in the area. The lake is home to a number of game fish including Walleye, Northern Pike, Lake Trout, Small Mouth Bass, and Large Mouth Bass. Burntside is also a great lake for loon watching. A survey by the Minnesota DNR identified Burntside Lake as having the largest population of loons in the state. We offer docking at the marina on a nightly basis, based on the size of your boat. Our marina has a boat launch, gas, and fish cleaning facilities for you fisherfolks. Overnight harbor fee for guest’s fishing boat is $15 per night, ramp fee is $10 per launch. The Caribbean Marina is located on the lower lake just west of Excelsior on Echo Bay, Lake Minnetonka. LAKE MINNETONKA’S PREMIER MARINAS IN EXCELSIOR AND SHOREWOOD Walking distance from Excelsior's many restaurants, and just minutes away from Big Island and Wayzata by boat. Close to the public pick-up dock, our Excelsior Bay location has 24 slips for larger boats and cabin cruisers up to 60 feet long, two slips for 38 footers, and two slips for 27 footers. The docks are solidly built and well maintained, with easy access to water and electricity. And the pedestal lights are positioned to help keep bugs away during the hot summer months. There's no better place to watch a sunset than the western-facing docks of Excelsior Bay.

Boating on Lake Superior offers the ultimate escape from the ordinary. Whether you sail in from over the horizon or trailer your boat up from the city, the Grand Marais Marina welcomes mariners on the Big Lake. The marina is located in the northwest corner of the harbor - behind the inner, rubble mound break wall. ​ The service dock features premium unleaded (no ethanol), diesel (non-bio blend) and sanitary pump-out. Charter fishing and sight seeing boats are based out of the marina. A fish cleaning station is located next to the service dock. Two, public water access boat launches on the harbor get you on and off the big lake like a breeze. ​ Two, easy access guest slips are available for reservations and guest moorings are generally available in the harbor. Our guest slips feature 30 and 50 Amp electric and potable water service. Marina staff monitor VHF Channel 16 and can be reached on the phone at 218-387-1712. Office hours during the June - September season are 8 AM - 8 PM. ​ In 2012, the Minnesota Clean Marina program began certifying marina’s whose policies protect the health of patrons, staff and the environment by minimizing the discharge of pollutants to the land, water and air. Naturally, the Grand Marais Marina was pleased to be the first Minnesota marina on Lake Superior to be certified. The 27-slip Marina on Grand Portage Bay is located adjacent to Grand Portage Lodge & Casino and is owned and operated by the Grand Portage Band of the Chippewa. The Marina is centrally located on Lake Superior between Thunder Bay, Ontario and Grand Marais, Minnesota within a shallow, protected bay. Open early May through October, the Marina provides services for fishing and boating. Michigan fishing licenses (required if fishing out of Isle Royale), slip rentals, ramp launching, landing facilities, gas and tackle sales are available.

Gray’s Bay Marina, located on the corner of County Road 101 South and Gray’s Bay Boulevard in Minnetonka, includes 29 permanent boat slips. Slips can accommodate boats up to 26 feet in actual total length (measured from the tip of the bow pulpit to the end of the swim platform or the furthest point away from the tip of the bow, whichever is longer). Boat slips are approximately 10-1/2 feet wide. Each slip has access to city water and electricity (30-amp marine twist-lock outlet). Fourteen parking spaces are reserved for slip holders. Each slip holder receives one parking permit. Gas Dock Beginning May 13, the gas dock will be open (weather permitting): Monday-Friday: Noon-8 p.m. Saturday-Sunday: 10 a.m.-8 p.m. The gas dock offers gasoline (91 octane ethanol-free premium unleaded boat fuel) and pump-out service. Boat slips are leased to Minnetonka residents only, including residents of rental properties, with one application accepted per residence. The City of Minnetonka must be the applicant’s principal place of residence, and the applicant must reside at the residence listed on the application. Registration of the boat moored in the slip must match the name and address of the applicant to whom the slip is leased.

Quiet, serene and natural, Hansen's Harbor is the best kept secret on Lake Pepin which offers the relaxation you expect in a natural and lush recreational setting. Hansen's Harbor is in a protected floating dock system with slips from 20 to 60 feet with tie-alongs to 90 feet, the "one-price" slip rental includes 1 -30 amp power hook up & potable water.

Harbor Cove Marina, located at 1033 Minnesota Ave, Duluth, MN 55802, United States. Kept our boat here for several seasons, mostly due to proximity to Duluth and the Canal Park area. The docks are reasonable, bathrooms average, and parking in front of docks. The persons owning the establishment provided miserable customer service. An onsite boatyard (separate business) provides reasonable dockside services (pump outs). Dockage escalates at least 10% a year with no explanation as to why. No on site security for boats. The facility is not dog friendly. No transient docks available. Other marinas in the area are much more accommodating to customers.

Knife River was built in the early 1970s and provides a safe harbor and needed services to enhance the Lake Superior Small Craft Harbor System. This 100 slip full-service marina is operated for the DNR by Knife River Marina

Knotty Oar Marina is located on Prior Lake, in Prior Lake, Minnesota, owned by Thane Tande. ​The Knotty Oar Marina maintains 110 watercraft slips. We take pride in the safety of our customers’ boats with locking gates and a state-of-the-art camera security system. In addition, we donate two slips to the Scott County water patrol to continue making Prior Lake a safe place for boaters. Slip customers enjoy all of our marine services and amenities as well as use of the Knotty Oar Marina private island: Reed’s Island on Lower Prior Lake. This 2 acre island is excellent for camping, bonfires, swimming, having a picnic or simply relaxing with family and friends. ​ Our season runs from April 15th to October 15th. Lake Minnetonka is Minnesota’s ninth-largest lake, popular among boaters, sailors, and fishermen alike. There are over 14,500 acres of water here to explore! According to lakeminnetonka.com, “the lake was formed by glacial melting in the last ice age, and covers 125 miles of shoreline. This massive, sprawling body of water is actually 40 virtually independent bodies of water.”

The present Lakehead Boat Basin is on the site of the original Duluth Boat Club, which dates back to the late 1800’s. The Boat Club not only offered rowing, sailing, swimming and other sports but also was the main focal point of lavish banquets in its restaurant perched over the water. Duluth has a history as a rowing force, but its other strength was due to its Olympic size pool. The most famous of its participants being that of "TARZAN" (Johnny Weismuller) who trained and coached in the indoor pool. The area has changed hands only a few times in its vast history. After the club ownership, the Barnes family owned it up to approximately the 1940s. The Hargrave family (the father of Jack Hargrave- well-known naval architect) then owned it until 1959. It was then sold to the present family, whose background comes from previous ownership of one of the local shipyards (Knudsen Brothers Shipyard). Please take a look around. Marina, fuel, storage, and service

The Marina is a quick stop for visitors to fill up on gas, grab a treat or replenish your liquor supply. You'll be able to pull into the slip, run into the store, and if you have time - even run upstairs to the restaurant for a delicious meal (or to watch the game)! At Shingobee there are four dock areas. We are labeling them A, B, C, and F. The first three have slips for boats. Dock F is for fuel. The slips on A and B can be used for Seasonal, Monthly, or Weekly leasing. We are reserving the slips on C for patrons who want to use the services at Shingobee. Docks A and B have both electrical and water connections. Dock C just has electrical. The Slip numbers for each dock are as follows: Dock A, A1-16, with slips A1 and A16 having only 14” of water clearance. The end caps are Slips A8 and A9. Dock B, B1-B16, with all slips have reasonable water clearance. The end caps are Slips B8 and B9.

Customer boats brought on-site are $24/night. This includes use of the boat ramp and parking of your trailer. With advanced notice, a covered, protected boat slip, with power and water at the dock, will be assigned to you. Shores has two options for mooring your boat: 1) A small harbor near Cottages 1 - 6. Space in this harbor is available on a first-come, first-served basis. 2) The large, inland marina. This harbor includes covered slips with water and power at each slip, a pump-out, gyn pole for standing masts, boat ramp, fish cleaning house and gasoline at the dock. With advanced notice, a slip in this harbor will be assigned to you. Shores large, in-land marina includes 110 boat slips. Fifty of these are covered for power boats, sixty are uncovered for sailboats. Shores keeps a waiting list for uncovered slips and only for sailboats. Shores does not expect to have any covered slips available other than to those renting an RV site or cottage. If you buy an RV or boat here, you have an option to rent the slip/site.

Silver Bay Marina is owned by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and is managed by the City of Silver Bay. The facility is located on the scenic North Shore of Lake Superior approximately 55 miles northeast of Duluth, Minnesota by boat just off U.S. Highway 61. Municipal Boat Slips The City maintains a 100 boat slip marina located at Barry Avenue and Grove Lane. New Boat Slip Permit Applications Applications are limited to one per residence. Applications will be considered in order of priority class as specified in City Code and permits issued through a lottery process, as further specified in this policy, on the first Tuesday in March until all boat slips in the City Marina have been filled. The number of permits issued annually are limited to the number of slips available in the marina. All permits will be issued in the following order of priority: Class 1 – Residents of Wayzata Class 2 – Persons owning real property in Wayzata who do not reside in Wayzata Class 3 – Persons who work in Wayzata Class 4 – All other applicants Applications for a boat slip must be submitted to the City Clerk no later than the close of business on the first Tuesday of February.
