Your visit may include visits to our restaurant, bar & lounge facilities, and, if convenient, introduction to any Flag Officer on the premises at the time. If you're planning to visit us, please bring a current membership card from your home club with you. A letter of introduction in advance of your visit would also be greatly appreciated. Upon arrival at the main Clubhouse, reciprocal visitors are asked to check in at the Front Desk. We hope you enjoy your visit with us! Please note: The Coal Harbour Home Port marina does not have a Clubhouse or administrative services. Vessels need to contact the Harbour Master prior to their arrival at 604.688.4578. Our current Moorage Policies as listed in the sections below, including the Important Notes section, are applicable to both Coal Harbour and Jericho marinas. Please check in / register with the Dock Office upon arrival. The Dock Offices at Coal Harbour Marina and Jericho Marina are manned 24 hours a day. Members of staff are always on-site to facilitate check-in. All space is very limited - should your visit be a spur-of-the-moment idea, check-in is especially important as slips appearing to be available may not actually be so. Both home port marinas at RVYC Jericho as well as RVYC Coal Harbour have been certified with the Green Marine designation. As such, there are environmental safeguards we ask you to respect and observe. Ask any member of marina staff if you are unsure.

The Tackle Store is located on the Fuel Dock. We enjoy Sports Fishing so have a large supply of tackle, rods, reels, line, traps, hooks etc. Also we are one of the last places to buy live bait – Herring for Sale by the Dozen!! April Point Marina is a vacation destination marina for those looking for moorage near Campbell River, Qualicum Beach, and the Discovery Islands. We provide a beautiful spot to dock your boat and a resort and spa is just around the corner. Our location on Quadra Island, just west of the Sunshine Coast, means there are plenty of things to do inland or you can simply sit back, relax, and enjoy your stay. We offer moorage for curious visitors based on the length of your stay and the size of your vessel. Located just east from Campbell River, April Point Marina offers a quieter, safe harbor for your boat tucked within Quathiaski Cove. Our marina also contains amenities such as power, water, and wifi.

The Awis Guesthouse and Marina was formerly known as Ostrom's Lodge and Marina. In the Huu-ay-aht First Nation language, this would be spelled ?awis, which means ‘always water there’ or ‘pool on the beach.’ It is a reference to the location of the guest house near what is known today as Ostrom’s Creek.

Bamfield East Dock provides approximately 850 ft. of safe, year-round moorage. We have dock lighting and garbage facilities now available with upgrades of water and power in the near future. The dock is located close to grocery and liquor stores, ice and a café.

The Bella Coola Harbour Authority is a non-profit organization that manages the Small Craft Harbour in Bella Coola providing moorage to fishing, recreational and commercial vessels. Fuel, water, showers & laundry are available. Commercial salmon fishing starts in early June and finishes at the end of August. Recreational fishing and boating usually starts on the May long weekend and finishes in October. This harbour is home to approximately 40 commercial fishing vessels, approximately 30 Recreational boats and 10 Commercial vessels. These numbers are significantly higher during the summer months. The Bella Coola Harbour is located at the end of Hwy 20. By sea, we’re located in North Bentinick Arm just beyond the mouth of the Bella Coola River, 3 km west of the town site. Open year round. The Harbour office is open from 8am to 6pm from June 1 – Sept 30. During the off season, the office is open from 8am to noon, Monday to Saturday. Please contact office staff for more information.

Blind Channel Resort is a unique and convenient destination for coastal mariners. We’re located three nautical miles off Johnstone Strait and just one nautical mile from Cordero Channel; an ideal location for any mariners travelling up or down the coast. Whether you are just passing through, or planning to stay for a while, we have all your needs covered. The marina at Blind Channel offers 2000 feet of sturdy dock space. This includes seven widely-spaced, 80-foot fingers, an aircraft dock, and a fuel dock. Clear, UV-treated spring water is available from hose bibs along the docks and 15, 30 and 50 Amp power is available 24 hours a day. Our helpful and professional dock attendants are standing by on VHF channel 66a. Give us a call as you approach, and we’ll be ready to assist. We recommend advance reservations during July and August, but of course, we will always do our best to accommodate anyone who shows up. Marine fuel is available at Blind Channel. We carry marine marked diesel, mid-grade gas, and oils. We also fill propane cylinders. Our fuel is delivered by barge and is stored in tanks on shore. Fuel docks are few and far between on this part of the coast, so careful planning is essential. It’s a peaceful world here in the winter. We offer secure, affordable long-term, off-season moorage. Someone is always here to keep an eye on things, and vandalism is not a concern. We also welcome liveaboards during the quiet months, with twenty-four-hour power and access to wifi internet. The fuel dock is open year-round, basics are stocked in the store, and the post office gets mail delivery twice a week. Give us a call.

The Marina & Pier has recently been sold. Wishing Norma all the best in this next chapter. Bowen Island is the jewel of Howe Sound. It has year-round moorage with 45 berths. During the high season, overnight moorage is limited. As with the Union Steamship Company Marina, there is easy access to dining, sport fishing licences, kayak rentals, and other amenities near the marina. The Burrard Civic Marina is located at the entrance to False Creek. It is the largest marina in False Creek with 423 water berths, 162 land storage spaces and 69 canoe, kayak, and paddleboat storage spaces. Do not swim in False Creek. If you want to swim, head to one of the nine fantastic beaches in Vancouver. Our marina is open year round for daily rental rates. The Canadian Princess has completed our new and 240 ft marina with two 30 ft fingers at each end. Our marina is made from high-grade aluminium with wood finishings. We are located on the calm inner harbour of the Ucluelet Boat Basin, just right beside the government docks. We are home to several local sports fishing, whale watching, and kayaking companies for guest’s resort activity convenience. We are not affiliated with any of these companies, so please contact them directly for rates and reservations.

Our marina and yard are open to all who love boats! We have gathered a great group of marine professionals ready and able to take on regular maintenance right up to the most complex projects on the classics to the very modern. We welcome do-it-yourselfers to come and be part of the community, take advantage of the expertise, enthusiasm and general good attitude around the entire facility. Canoe Cove Marina has been a preferred “one-stop” full service marina for over 75 years. Commitment to customer service, ongoing upgrading of technical skills, and regular expansion of facilities, has been the hallmark of the Marina’s success.

Capital City Yacht Club is located on the south east side of Blue Heron Basin, which is on the west side of Tsehum Harbour, Sidney BC. There is 50 feet of wharfage at the visitor's dock, as well as extra moorage available during the summer when member slips are vacant. Beware! There are sticks marking the channel to get to the yacht club. Depths are near 5 feet at low tide. (Note that this is not at zero tide, so depths may be even shallower!)

CAPTAIN’S COVE MARINA WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1978 IN THE COMMUNITY OF LADNER, IN THE CITY OF DELTA. IT IS NESTLED IN THE DEAS SLOUGH WITH FRESH WATER MOORAGE 9 MILES FROM THE OPEN OCEAN. The Marina is also situated directly across from Deas Island Provincial Park, a natural estuary, with an abundance of walking trails, picnic areas, wild life, bird watching and numerous other park facilities. Captain’s Cove Marina offers boaters and moorage tenants numerous amenities on the property and is secured. The Marina sports 350 slips that accommodate boats ranging in sizes from 24′ to 60′ with 30 & 50 amp power available. Captain’s Cove has a 60 ton travel lift for haul outs and a secured work yard area to allow our customers the ability to work on their vessels. The Marina is also next door neighbor to the executive golf course, The Links at Hampton Cove. One round through the challenging nine hole course will leave you with a greater appreciation for the layout and design of a tough executive golf course. Whether you’re a beginner, pro or ranking amateur, Cove Links is the best course to test your skills.

WELCOME TO OUR CEDAR GROVE MARINA Cedar Grove Marina is located in Tsehum Harbour on the Northeast side of the Saanich Peninsula on southern Vancouver Island. Nearby, the seaside town of Sidney beckons with that small-town feel, warm and inviting with all the amenities (including many bakeries, cosy restaurants, banking, groceries and medical services). Three haul-out facilities are located within 5 minutes of the marina, chandleries abound and we have access to a full spectrum of marine services and professionals.

Our facilities include campsites, boat moorage, vehicle and boat trailer parking, washrooms, showers, gift shop and museum, WiFi, large park with picnic areas Bamfield Community park offers protected moorage in beautiful Port Desire. Boaters are serviced with a park boat launch, marina, a kayak and canoe staging area, and parking for boat trailers. Moorage space is limited! When booking your moorage, please provide the overall length of your vessel, including bow sprit and any gear extending off the stern.

Centennial Pier is located downtown in the inner harbour at the Harbour Quay. Famous its panoramic vistas – including the best view in town of the iconic snow-capped top of Mount Arrowsmith – shops, galleries, Alberni Aquarium & Stewardship Centre, dining, Lady Rose Marine Services and the Alberni Pacific Railway the Harbour Quay is a destination point for residents and visitors of the Alberni Valley. We offer moorage on the finger floats at for daily, weekly and monthly moorage at Centennial Pier. In addition to moorage directly at the Harbour Quay the Port Authority utilizes Centennial Pier to host tender boats from cruise ships and welcome visitors to explore and enjoy the Alberni Valley. Also located on Centennial Pier is Pacific Seaplanes and Swept Away Inn. Pacific Sea Planes offers tours, charters, and scheduled floatplane services between Port Alberni and Vancouver International Airport (South Terminal River).A floating bed and breakfast, Swept Away Inn, is a converted 100-foot tug with several state rooms onboard and dining with a French-Moroccan flare. They invite you for the night or for a private dinner and/or function. The dining is amazing and the overall experience is unique and not to be missed when enjoying the Alberni Valley. Developed by the Port Alberni Port Authority, in partnership with funding contributions from the Governments of Canada and Island Coastal Economic Trust, Centennial Pier opened in 2012 during the City of Port Alberni’s Centennial Anniversary in for the valuable protection of Fishermen’s Harbour and to the enjoyment of the community at large. Welcome to China Creek Campground and Marina! Our full service marina offers convenient onsite amenities to accommodate our mariners. Port Alberni fishing is easier with direct access from China Creek Marina. China Creek Marina is a full service marina open from April 1st – September 30th offering both seasonal and leisure moorage. The marina has 88 slips and more than 2300 lineal feet of side tie moorage. We accommodate boat camping, overnight parking for your trailer and vehicle or winter dryland storage. The marina has a gas dock offering both marine fuel and diesel, a four lane launch ramp, fish cleaning station, electrical hook-ups and pump-out station. We also offer propane services, ice, washrooms, showers and coin-operated laundry facilities. China Creek Marina is open April 1st – September 30th. Marina rates are effective as of January 1st, 2021 and are subject to tax. See our rates below and please contact us for availability. Our docks at Clutesi Haven are snugged within the tidal fresh water of the Somass River directly along the driving route for visitors travelling to the world-famous resort destination of Tofino, BC and Pacific Rim National Park. This marina is a major hub for the local tourism sector in the Alberni Valley. The history, reputation and community pride of this facility were the primary factors that led to the community achieving the designation of “Canada’s Ultimate Fishing Town” by World Fishing Network. The Marina offers slips and side-tie berths for up to 165 vessels, 28 of which are covered boathouses. All berths have access to hydro and potable water. This is our most popular location for trailered boats because of the river access and four-lane boat ramp. We offer daily, weekly, monthly and annual moorage. Moorage reservations are strongly recommended and over-night parking is available (rates). The fishing is fabulous in most seasons and Clutesi Haven Marina is home to the oldest active fishing club in the Alberni Valley: the Tyee Club. We invite guests to use our fish cleaning station and weigh scale to take a picture of themselves with their trophy catch. Shopping, dining and entertainment are within walking distance. During the spring and summer months, travelers enjoy the food truck vendors that typically are located at Clutesi Haven. This is a favourite place for sitting at picnic tables at the river’s edge, watching wildlife in the estuary. This is the perfect place to enjoy nature, including the possibility of bear watching across the river, with abundant comfort amenities a stroll away. Located in the City of Prince Rupert, close to downtown, tucked between the Cowbay Marina and the Prince Rupert Rowing and Yacht Club, Cowbay offers 139.5 metres of timber decked floats. This harbour is typically used for our shorter stays (picking up groceries, stopping in town for appointments) as there is no water or power. Equipped with a drive-on wharf to load and unload your supplies and a garbage bin at the top of the ramp.

Only a few minutes from the marina is Cowichan Bay waterfront village. Docks at Fisherman’s wharf are behind a floating breakwater. The floating breakwater dock is not connected to land. A dinghy is needed for shore access. The privately owned marinas are west of the public wharf. At the other end of town, Hecate Park has a launch ramp with ample trailer storage.

1721 Cowichan Bay Rd, Cowichan Bay, BC V0R 1N0, Canadá Cowichan Bay village is situated in a natural harbour near the mouth of the Cowichan and Koksilah Rivers. The Marina accommodates boats up to 60 feet long. Transient moorage not currently available. Cowichan Bay is located on the eastern coast of Vancouver Island, adjacent to the Gulf Islands. Global positioning coordinates are 48.7333° N, 123.6167° W. The Village serves as a gateway to one of the world’s premier cruising and sailing areas. By road, the Village is 45 minutes north of Victoria on the Trans Canada Highway. The turn off for the village is clearly sign-posted as a “Scenic Seaside Village” route. Cowichan Bay Marina accommodates vessels up to 60 feet. The majority of slips are rented on an annual basis, however, slips do become available throughout the year . At this time we cannot accommodate transient moorage. A limited number of live-aboard residents are in the marina. It is difficult to predict vacancies- contact us to check the availability of moorage.

Many rooms at Critter Cove are built on the docks and your boat is moored nearby. We have everything the do-it-yourself fishermen needs, including great location, accommodation, tackle store, cafe, bait, ice, and marine gas. There’s a range of accommodation from basic rooms on the docks to full service, self-contained, waterfront cottages and chalets. Our café is open at first light for coffee, breakfast sandwiches and baking to take with you. We have an assortment of items ready to go for lunch and diner, usually including soups, chili, loaded baked spuds, sandwiches, enchiladas, rice bowls, homemade waffle cones and desserts. We also have dinner specials some nights (beef dip, burrito and burger nights). Guests often bring supplies and cook their own meals, so you are not required to join us in the restaurant. Note we enforce a quiet time past 10 pm since most guests are rising early.

The Municipality of North Cowichan operates public wharves in Chemainus, Crofton, and Maple Bay. The wharves at Chemainus and Maple Bay are owned by the Municipality. The Crofton wharf is owned by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and operated under agreement by North Cowichan. A floating outpost in the backwoods, the General Store at Dawson's Landing has everything you could imagine you might need, either for your trip through, or for that extended stay in, Rivers Inlet. Dawson's Landing is located in Rivers Inlet, 65 nautical miles north of Port Hardy, British Columbia.

Deep Cove North Shore Marina is located where two bodies of water meet, Burrard Inlet and Indian Arm. (Indian Arm is about 23 kilometers (14 miles) long and up to 219 meters (720 feet) deep.) We offer easy access to berthage, fuel, provisions and is in easy walking distance of Deep Cove community amenities.

Degnen Bay, on Gabriola Passage at the south end of Gabriola Island, is a good anchorage but a little crowded with boats on moorings. Entering Degnen Bay, favour the east side, close to Josef Point, to avoid rocks in the middle. A petroglyph of a killer whale is on a slab of rock near the head of the bay. Correspondents John and Lorraine Littlewood report additional petroglyphs on the United Church grounds. A public dock provides access to Gabriola Island. All other docks are private. Degnen Bay Public Wharf. Has 190 feet of dock space, power, garbage drop, but no other facilities. Commercial fishing vessels have priority. Fair Harbour Marina provides supervised / monitored moorage at our private dock in Fair Harbour. The convenience of this service is often utilized by guests that are fishing in the Kyuquot Sound area while staying in the nearby Fair Harbour Campground. In protected Schooner Cove on the east coast of Vancouver Island, Fairwinds Marina is a welcoming and accessible facility with picturesque views of the Strait of Georgia and rugged coastal mountain ranges. Located in the mid-Island region in Nanoose Bay, this sheltered marina is the perfect place to dock before your tee time. Launch your kayak for a paddle to nearby coves, or simply relax and enjoy watching the boats and abundant marine life. You will have peace of mind knowing your vessel is moored at our secured docks, where moorage can be obtained on a year-round, monthly, or on a transient basis. Stretching along False Creek on either side of the Granville Bridge, our marina has space for approx. 110 boats of varying sizes, and is equipped with party dock areas with BBQ’s, Dinghy, Kayak & SUP Storage & Use, Folkboat Sailing Vessel, laundry and showers, and pumpout facilities. The marina has 30A circuits on the dock, and an onsite wharfinger who may be reached at 604-648-2628. Boats arrive from all over the Lower Mainland, the Island, and the world to visit the Vancouver area. The False Creek Yacht Club is pleased to offer daily, overnight, and weekly transient arrangements, as available. Outside docks may be able to accommodate longer or wider vessels than the permanent slip sizes noted above, on a temporary basis and at the discretion of the Wharfinger. FCYC is also part of the worldwide club moorage reciprocal program.

Campbell River, with an area population of approximately 41,000 is located 190 km northwest of Vancouver, BC on the east coast of Vancouver Island. Fishermans Wharf is located in the heart of downtown Campbell River in area that also includes the Discovery Fishing Pier, Maritime Heritage Centre, Campbell River Museum, and Discovery Passage Aquarium. Services provided by Fishermans Wharf are: Secure berthage for Canadian Fishing vessels, recreational vessels, commercial vessels, and licence holders. The Port Authority manages Fishermen’s Harbour through an agreement with Ministry of Fisheries and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours Branch. This facility is well equipped and intended to service commercial fishing vessels, tugs, salvage vessels and recreational vessels as space permits. With 7000 lineal feet of moorage space, Fishermen’s Harbour can accommodate up to approximately 500 vessels on a first come first serve bases with rafting. Our Fishermen’s Harbour facility is equipped with electricity and potable water, oil recycling and garbage facilities, washrooms with showers and a 100-stall paved parking lot for customers and the public. In addition, the nearby Kingsway Street parking lot, owned by the Port Authority, offers ample free parking to users. Fishermen’s Harbour is situated in close proximity to a complete supply of shore services; including an ice plant, Canadian Alberni Engineering, marine ways, two 1.5 ton electric hydraulic winches and a sani-dump station. Directly to the south of Fishermen’s Harbour we installed a floating breakwater; Centennial Pier that provides protection from the south to the marina. The Ford Cove harbour is located near the beginning of Central Road, at Ford’s Cove, on the southwest side of Hornby Island. There are two long fingers, one for recreational boaters with transient moorage available and one for commercial fishing vessels. Additional short finger floats are available for day trippers and runabouts. There is a timber approach and wharfhead. The facility is protected by a quarried rock breakwater and a floating log breakwater. No reservations needed between October 1st March 31st. Moorage is first come first served, with the exception of private slips. No fuel or water at the Harbour No power on breakwater Stretching between Ford Cove and the ferry landing at Shingle Spit, Ford Cove Trail is a great walk and easy bike ride. Marine wildlife thrive in the waters surrounding Ford Cove Harbour, including Orcas, (Killer Whales) and Humpbacks. Other aquatic animals include Sea Lions, Seals, and Pacific white sided Dolphins

Located just minutes away from downtown Campbell River, the Freshwater marina offers a variety of services including moorage for up to 65ft, dryland storage, office rental spaces, a 50-ton travel lift, a public boat ramp and more!

Located at 7340 Pacheena Rd, Port Renfrew, BC, VOS 1K0 All cottages come with one moorage spot on our dock located on the peaceful San Juan River. Extra moorage may be available for a small fee with prior approval from our office.

Ganges Centennial Harbour is the largest of the Harbour Authority facilities. This facility is primarily used by fishing, commercial, and recreational vessels whose homeport is Ganges and have permanent mooring contracts. There is no transient tourist traffic throughout the year without prior approval from staff. The harbour consists of an entrance channel and a protected mooring basin consisting of a main header float and three wing floats, a pedestrian approach trestle, a launching ramp and a parking area. The harbour is protected to the east by a 150m-rubble mound breakwater. Services at this facility include potable water, Wi-Fi, 30-amp shore-power, lighting, garbage disposal, waste oil disposal and shower, washroom facilities and a boat launching ramp. The harbour is located in waterlot 474, Cowichan District. Access to the floats is from a 10.7m long by 6m wide wharfhead with timber trestle and asphalt surface. The gangway is 11m long and 1.2 m wide and has a rubber non-skid cover over a steel mesh grid. The main header and wing floats are of treated timber, pontoons and a total of 335m in length. These floats are 2.74m wide. The north side of the header float has 8 finger floats, which are 3.7m long and 0.6m wide. The western most side of the west wing float has 7 finger floats, which are 10rn long and l.3m wide The Harbour Authority of Salt Spring Island is currently responsible for the management of eight facilities on Salt Spring Island. The harbour is located in waterlot 348, Cowichan District. Access to the floats is from a 13.8m long by 3m wide wharfhead with timber trestle. The gangway is 11m long and 1.2 m wide and has a rubber non-skid cover over a steel mesh grid. The gangway lands on the first finger float whose western portion is reserved for the local Water Taxi Company which holds the School Board Contract. There is a main header float 49m long with three finger floats of 48 m in length. The eastern portion of the first finger float, 10.6 m is available for transient moorage. This facility is used primarily for daily transient vessels during 1 May – 30 Sep. In the winter season, 1 Oct – 30 Apr, there is some longer term moorage that might be available with a waiting list. Even in the winter, the south side is left open for daily transient moorage. Services at this facility include potable water, Wi-Fi, 30-amp shore-power plug, lighting, and access to the garbage disposal, waste oil disposal and shower, washroom facilities and a boat launching ramp services at Centennial. The soft sandy bottom will not hurt your boat, but you may be stuck waiting for higher water! At the lowest tide of the year we still have over 6 feet depth at the fuel dock. Our entire facility was completely rebuilt within the past few years. We feature wide stable docks and walk ways. There is 15 amp hydro and water installed at every slip for your convenience. You will need a standard 30 amp marine twist lock cord to access hydro. Contact the marina office to inquire about available space or if you boat / yacht has larger power requirements. We have staff on-site to help. Goldstream Boathouse is a full service marina and is the home of Victoria General Marine, a full service repair facility. The Marina at the Gorge Harbour! The 1800 ft of newly installed, wide protected docks at Gorge Harbour Marina Resort, offer boats of any size a comfortable and secure place to tie up. The marina offers 50 and 30 Amp services and cold fresh deep well water. A fuel dock located at the front of marina, separating the west and east fingers, offers diesel and “ethanol free” gas to boaters year round. Propane is also dispensed up by the General Store. The small store at the fuel pumps offers fuel additives, oils and most basics that a boater out on a cruise might need. You will also find a full array of fishing rods, fishing lures, lines, downrigger gear, weights, prawn and crab traps. If there is something we don’t stock, mechanical or other wise, we can usually get it shipped over within 24 hours.

Here boats tie in a linear dockage manner which is" nose to tail" alongside the dock, then as more boats arrive, they find a boat of similar size on the eligible docks, put out fenders and raft alongside.

In recent years considerable upgrading has been done to make Pubic Wharf not just a dock for the dinghy but a destination in its own right. Enter SE of breakwater, watch shallow area SE of fuel dock. Hartley Bay is a First Nations community on the coast of British Columbia. The village is located at the mouth of Douglas Channel, about 630 kilometres north of Vancouver and 145 kilometres south of Prince Rupert. It is an isolated village accessible only by air and water, with a population of 200 habitants. For most of the twentieth century, the fishing industry sustained the people of Hartley Bay. Today, however, with the decline of the fishing industry, employment has diversified, with tourism playing a significant role. For example, several Hartley Bay residents work at nearby fishing lodges during the summer as guides.

Heriot Bay is located on the east coast of Quadra Island, facing the dramatic coastal mountains on the mainland. It is the port of departure for the regular ferry service to Cortes Island. It is also the gateway for the north end of Quadra Island which includes, Granite Bay, Bold Point, Surge Narrows, Walcan, Main Lakes Chain, Open Bay, Village Bay Lake and many of the hiking trails that criss-cross the upper end of the island. For those adventurers among you unfamiliar with the Broughton cruising experience, we encourage you to not limit your exploration to just Jenni's Bay, but to visit and experience the entire community of marinas, bays and inlets in the area. John Henry’s Marina is located inside Pender Harbour, in historic Hospital Bay. The marina is an ideal waypoint for mariners traveling north to visit Princess Louisa Inlet, Desolation Sound, the Broughtons, or points further north. We accommodate transient vessels to a maximum of 150 ft. Our 2,300 lineal feet, includes 40 slips, ranging in size from 15 to 70 feet, plus a long, 400 lineal foot dock suitable for large vessels. One end of our long dock includes space for floatplane arrivals and departures.

Kelsey Bay, on the north side of Vancouver Island, has a breakwater southeast of the harbour, made of old ship hulks. The Union Steamship Cardena and three WWII frigates: HMCS Runnymede, HMCS Lasalle, and HMCS Longueil. Enter leaving the light green breakwater to starboard and the old ships to port. Watch for current entering the breakwater. Transient moorage is on A, B, and C docks, maximum length 60 feet. Water, 20 and 30 amp power, garbage drop, recycling, oil disposal. Most of the moorage is occupied by commercial fish boats. Rafting may be required. Moorage is paid at the honour box at the top of the ramp, an attendant is on-site during the summer months. We found the docks to be clean and well maintained. The Straits View Cafe, located behind the breakwater, welcomes boaters at their 100-ft dock while enjoying breakfast, lunch, or dinner; the cafe is closed Tuesdays. Overnight stays are permitted on the Cafe dock, moorage charged, 20-amp power, reservations accepted. A small gift shop that doubles as a tourist office is located on the wharf at the north end of the marina. The Kelsey Bay area consists of two separate harbours. One dock is owned by Sayward Futures Society and the other is a federal government dock managed by the Sayward Harbour Authority. The coordinates for the harbour area are 125° 57′ 28″ West, 50° 23′ 27″ North. Contrary to many recent marine publications, the Kelsey Bay area does not sell fuel – and has not since the early 1980s. The closest places to buy fuel are Blind Channel Resort (25 nautical miles to the south) or Lagoon Cove Marina (35 nautical miles to the north). Our dock has a large cargo pier in the front and a finger dock for smaller vessels in the back. The pier is approximately 180 feet long and has a water depth of about 30 feet at low tide. The finger dock has about 200 feet of dock space with water depths ranging from 8-15 feet. The Government Dock, managed by the Sayward Harbour Authority, does not take reservations. It is first come, first tie-up. The maximum length for vessels at this dock is 65 feet. It is just north of Gilford Island on the north side of Tribune Channel. At the head of the bay was its namesake, kwatsi, a former village of the Kwicksutaineuk group of the Kwakwaka'wakw peoples. Kwatsi Point is the headland at the southeast corner of the bay, located at 50°50′37″N 126°15′40″W. Kwatsi Bay is approximately 70 nautical miles (130 km) by air from the Pacific Ocean. It is a popular destination for pleasure boaters.

Ladner Yacht Club was founded in 1958 and is located next to the core of Ladner Village on the Fraser River. The marina basin is owned by the club and accommodates 100 vessels. There are approximately 50 members moored at the marina, the remaining slips are rented to the public. The turn-over at the marina is not high. However, each year there can be several slips that become available. Boats lengths up to 50' can be accommodated. Our docks are situated in a naturally sheltered freshwater basin protected from both wind and waves. Security is provided by an on-site security contractor and multiple video cameras. Moorage requests will be directed to the fleet captain. For those unfamiliar with the Fraser River, the key advice is to plan your arrival to coincide within an hour or two of high tide when currents are relatively slack (not low tide). The other important advice is that Roberts Bank extends miles into Georgia Strait, what looks like an open ocean may not be; so, plan to navigate a GPS course to the Sand Heads river entrance.

Please read the signage posted on the door about waiting to enter the office when it is occupied by someone else. Office hours are 8:00am – 4:30pm daily. Our concrete wash pad, measuring 30’ x 70’, is equipped with a 3000 psi 4GPM pressure washer, making it an ideal place to remove dirt and debris from your boat. You can choose between 15-degree and 40-degree nozzles. All wash water is filtered and recycled. Our 28’ x 110’ concrete ramp is reserved for smaller boat launches (vehicle and trailer) when it is not being used by our SL-40 Sling Lift Trailer for larger boats. Pacific Boulevard Marina is located behind the former Edgewater Casino at the Plaza of Nations, across from BC Place stadium and Rogers Arena. If you are traveling by Skytrain, get off at the Stadium Station, walk towards Abbott Street then head south one block to Pacific Boulevard and walk towards the glass building by the water. If you are parked along Pacific Boulevard or at the Plaza of Nations surface parking area, walk towards the glass building and follow the pedestrian walkway at the Plaza of Nations eastward towards the Telus World of Science until you get to the chain link fence, then turn right to head towards the marina. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00 pm. Access to the marina is through a locked gate so please call or email ahead to let us know in advance if you plan to drop by. Liveaboards are not permitted. Transient and Temporary Moorage Pacific Boulevard Marina reserves the right to refuse moorage for poorly-maintained vessels. We currently do not offer Transient Moorage. If in any case an exception was made and Transient Moorage was offered, the daily rate would be $2.50 per ft.

Our upgraded 146-slip marina can accommodate both power and sail boats up to 46 feet in length all year round. Slips have fresh water (except winter), with 15amp power available. The marina is accessed by sea through a channel alongside and south of the Oyster River, between Campbell River, B.C., and the beautiful Comox Valley on central Vancouver Island. Here, you’ll have direct access to the breathtaking Desolation Sound and Discovery Passage, plus hundreds of miles of coastline, islands, harbours, and numerous popular fishing spots. Our marina is the perfect launching point to explore Vancouver Island’s many marine attractions, including Mitlenatch Island Park, Rebecca Spit, Smelt Bay and Read Island parks. These destinations are great for birdwatching and spotting a wide variety of sea life. Pacific Playgrounds Marina is located near the entrance to Vancouver Island’s Discovery Passage, adjacent to and immediately south of Oyster River estuary at 49 degrees 52′ N, 125 degrees 7′ W. Channel markers are present, and the depth is most shallow by the outermost post. You’ll need a minimum tide of seven feet for a boat with a draft of 4.5’. The tide reference table is Mitlenatch Island. The channel is narrow and exposed to S.E. winds, so it is not advisable to attempt passage during high swells or winds.

Located on beautiful Gabriola Island. The marina at Page's Inn on Silva Bay is located on the northern end of Silva Bay below the guest suites and lawns. While most slips are reserved for local Gabriolans year round or summer seasonal moorage, we do provide some transient slips for those guests who either arrive by boat or trailer their boat to the inn. These lucky guests can enjoy spending their day with some of the most spectacular island cruising and salmon fishing on the coast. Located in the District of Port Edward and is the home of our Head Office, and functions as the North Coast Hub for Commercial Fishing. Also known as Port Ed Harbour, it is the largest of our sites due to the extensive uplands area. Accommodating commercial and recreational vessels with 2,101.5 metres of lit timber decked floats with power, fresh water, and a vessel pump-out station. This site can safely moor vessels up to 60m in length. Porpoise has two power hoists, Hiab, forklifts, and hand carts to assist in all loading and unloading needs. Upland storage, a dry dock vessel repair area that is serviced by a 35-ton travel lift, net storage, net repair racks, ample warehouse, locker rentals, and industrial equipment. Two drive-on floating wharves (booking required) and onsite permit parking for up to 100 vehicles. Three off-loading tenants – Crab, Salmon, Geoducks, Prawns, Urchins, Cucumbers.

The town has approximately 660 residents. The main industry was historically the local pulp mill and is shifting towards tourism. Now the Sea Otter Capital of Canada, the village has all the necessities, including a grocery store that has a great selection for reasonable prices, a well-stocked liquor store, plus a pizza restaurant that you must try! Walking distance from the marina, the Village of Port Alice offers overnight accommodations, RV sites, a golf course, soccer and baseball fields, liquor store, grocery store, gas station, food truck, paddle sport rentals, fishing and wildlife charters, Royal Canadian Legion, post office, community centre, coffee shop, beauty salon, RCMP and a medical clinic. Stroll the 3-kilometre Sea Walk along the Port Alice coastline and keep your eyes open for whales and sea otters, rest at benches and picnic tables along the way, and follow the trail at the end to Walkout Island at low tide. Hike nearby trails at Marble River, Alice Lake/Link River Campground, Spruce Bay Campground, and unmarked trails in town. Drive the Alice Lake Loop to access geological wonders like Devil’s Bath and the Eternal Fountain – part of the vast stretches of limestone and karst formations that make Vancouver Island North prime caving country.

Port Hardy is located at the north end of scenic Vancouver Island with a harbour that offers year-round shelter. Hardy Bay is close to scenic coastal cruising, superb fishing and is the start of the beautiful Inside Passage to Prince Rupert. In fact, Port Hardy serves as the transportation hub for the busy Central Coast. Port Hardy is home to several Municipal wharf systems, as well as a private marina and a water-front recreation site at Bear Cove. These wharf systems are a short walk from the downtown core and a wide range of amenities. In the summer months, harbour staff monitor Channel 66A, latitude: 50º 42′ 0″ and longitude: 127º 25′ 0″. Port Hardy is home to the southern terminus for BC Ferries Inside Passage and Prince Rupert routes. In the busy summer months, the Ferry also offers the immensely popular Discovery Route sailings, providing guests with a scenic loop tour of the Mid-Coast communities and villages, including Bella Bella, Klemtu, Shearwater and Bella Coola. There is a regional airport with daily scheduled flights to Vancouver to the south and to the Mid-Coast; there is a scheduled bus that leaves every morning and arrives every evening, with a modern highway (Highway19) connecting Port Hardy to southern parts of the Island. Fisherman's Wharf This dock is in the inner basin of Hardy Bay, and is home to the harbour office. And while there are fees to use the Fisherman’s Wharf boat ramp, the municipality provides free boat launching and parking at Bear Cove, which is located on the road to the BC Ferries terminal. ​ The downtown shopping area is a 10-minute walk to the north, with the scenic Quatse River and Quatse Salmon Enhancement Centre a short distance to the south. There is also a wildlife viewing platform in the Quatse River estuary, which links the area to Bear Cove and the start of the new Fort Rupert trail. The Fort Rupert trail links Bear Cove with Port Hardy’s most popular sandy beach – Storey’s Beach.

Located in gorgeous Brentwood Bay, Portside Marina was first opened in 1927 by Harry Gilbert as Gilbert's Boathouse. Saanich Inlet was a premier fishing location and at the age of 13, Harry's son, Jim Gilbert, started guiding and went on to become an acclaimed fishing guide. Canadian Prime Ministers John Diefenbaker and Lester B. Pearson (pictured above, sitting) have fished here. Today, the inlet is popular for prawning, diving, paddling, The Butchart Gardens summer fireworks, beaches and access to great hiking. Portside Marina has limited availability and is ideal for long skinny sailboats and smaller powerboats.

Powell River is a remarkable boating destination located on the shores of the Salish Sea in coastal British Columbia. It is situated close to the world-famous Desolation Sound and is home to two harbors - Westview/South Harbour and North Harbour. These harbors offer moorage for commercial, pleasure craft and transient vessels. The Wharfinger Services are available at the Wharfinger Office during winter months from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4 pm. During summer, the office is open seven days a week from 7:30 to 4 pm. It is not for transient vessels. The harbour has annual, short-term, seniors and temporary moorage rates. There are approximately 330 mooring slips for vessels from 5-metres to 18.5 metres (16 to 60 feet). The City’s main boat launch ramp is situated in the North Harbour, providing Powell River’s primary saltwater access. Westview/South Harbour Mooring and Electricity Rates Westview is a small craft harbour that is partially occupied by commercial fishing vessels. Floats 1, 2 and 3 are reserved for commercial boats. Floats 4 and 5 are used for monthly moorage. Floats 6 is used for monthly moorage Sept 16 – May 30 and transient vessels from Jun 1 – Sept 15. There is a loading facility available. South Harbour includes floats 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11. Entrance is at the Canadian Coast Guard Station. Mooring is hourly, daily, monthly and transient. From June 1 to September 15, floats 10 and 11 are reserved for transient vessels paying the daily moorage rates. The Pump out is available from 11-3 daily on Dock 11 from May 1 – Oct 15. There are no reservations for transient vessels. Boaters are moored on a first-come, first-served basis. Please Note: The deadline to book a potential spot in the Westview/South Harbour expires on May 1. The rate is for a minimum of three months. If payment is not received by May 1 the daily moorage rate will be charged. There are some public washrooms along the trail partway that include a pay shower for travelers who need to freshen up.

Quathiaski Cove (called Q-Cove by the locals) is the main commercial and residential centre on Quadra Island. It is located on the west side of the island directly across Discovery Passage from Campbell River. The hourly ferry service to and from Campbell River leaves from the terminal in Quathiaski Cove. Our location is adjacent to the terminal allowing us to provide a well-lit and organized parking service for the users of the Quadra ferry. All main services are available in Quathiaski Cove including, groceries, accommodations, liquor, a post office, gas, propane, a pharmacy, banking, office & art supplies, art galleries, marine and auto mechanics, cafés, restaurants, hair stylists, a hardware store and a pub. Note that priority for year round moorage in this facility is given to Commercial Fishing Vessels. Located in the City of Prince Rupert at the north end of George Hills Way, within walking distance to downtown, Rushbrook offers 1249.5 meters of lit, timber-decked docks with fresh water and shore power. Vehicle pay parking is available through the kiosk on site and managed by the City of Prince Rupert. This is the third largest of our sites and attracts up to 300 vessels (rafted of various sizes) that are both commercial and recreational. The Harbour Office is at the base of the wharf and is open Monday to Friday from September to May. In June, July, and August, the office is open 7 days a week. This location has men’s and ladies’ washrooms, a token-operated shower room, onsite garbage for vessel refuse, an oil bin, a fire suppression system, and trained staff onsite.

The location of the property is at the mouth of the small bay that separates Dent Island from the mainland. Even though all the addresses indicate Stuart Island, it is actually a part of the Mainland. Construction and installation of all new concrete docks began in the fall of 2017 and was completed. This includes 1600 feet of guest moorage with 30, 50, and 100 amp power.

We have approximately 1000 ft of moorage available in our Marina and can accommodate boats up to 75 ft. Our marina has a number of large fish cleaning stations with fresh water. Satellite Internet is available via WiFi Winter Harbour Wireless Hotspot for a fee. There are Coin-operated laundry, washroom, and shower facilities available for your convenience. We sell Commercial and Retail Diesel and Mid Grade Gasoline, as well as oil,hydraulic fluid, filters, belts and other necessities. We also have good potable water available at the fuel dock. The Winter Harbour General Store has everything from bolts to bananas and lots of fishing gear and tackle. There is also a well-stocked liquor store, a wide variety of groceries, household items, and local souvenirs.

As fellow boaters, we want to respect your wishes if you choose to anchor in Telegraph Harbour instead of using our marina docks. However, we kindly ask that you also respect our position. If you do choose to anchor, facilities such as showers, laundry, garbage, water, recreational activities, and wifi are available exclusively for those who pay for moorage. We welcome anyone to use our restaurant, pub, store, and offer several dinghy docks at no charge. If you plan to leave your dinghy for an extended period to take the ferry to Chemainus, please let the dock attendants know so we can ensure its safety during your absence. Please keep in mind that the maximum speed when passing by both marinas is 5kts (no wake). This speed will help to prevent damage and discomfort to vessels tied to the docks, as well as the live aboards that we currently have. There are privately-owned moorings throughout the harbour, but it's best to rely on your anchoring gear rather than hooking onto them. Owners may ask you to vacate the mooring if they return, and the anchor used on a mooring could be designed for a small vessel or be in deteriorating condition. Telegraph Harbour generally has good holding in sand and mud, but the inner harbour can become congested during peak summer times. The area south of Thetis Island Marina has adequate holding and is well-protected from most strong southerly winds. Please avoid anchoring in the north of the marina docks, as it is designated for float plane traffic. Scheduled and unscheduled floatplanes use the area daily, and they have limited maneuverability. Always give them the right-of-way and keep an eye out for them when motoring in the harbour.

Thieves Bay Marina is a private marina. You must be a member of MLPOS and maintain your annual membership. Proof of boat ownership (Vessel registration or declaration of ownership) and boat insurance (minimum of $1,000,000 Protection and Indemnity coverage) is also required. Casual moorage rates are also calculated on the length of the berth assigned. Casual moorage is available on a monthly basis for MLPOS members who are coming for a short stay or for those waiting for a permanent slip to become available. Payment options are one time payment or monthly post dated cheques, PayPal payments or e-transfers. All Casual Moorage Applications must be accompanied by proof of valid Protection and Indemnity Marine Liability Insurance in order to be processed. Without this insurance, an application is considered incomplete and your boat will not be allowed in the marina. The marina facility is located at 48°46'Nº 123°19W on the west side of North Pender Island in the southern Gulf Islands of British Columbia, Canada. Entrance to the marina is from Swanson Channel. Those entering the marina are advised to give a wide berth along the west side of the breakwater due to a rock hazard. Note that there are additional hazards not depicted on the map. Those leaving the marina are advised to make sure the orcas (killer whales) are not passing, since it is illegal to disturb them.

The Thunderbird Marina story begins in 1952 with a small marina opening to service local boaters in Fisherman’s Cove, West Vancouver. With a protected location, stable docks and exemplary service, our business quickly grew, and by 1970 we had over 1000 slips, and acquired Westport Marina on southern Vancouver Island. True to our West Coast roots, we focussed on our local service, and our two marinas developed into British Columbia’s most environmentally advanced boatyards. Today, Thunderbird Marina has expanded its dock system to also accommodate longer and wider boats, and we will soon begin the same upgrades at Westport to continue the history of service we began here over 65 years ago. Managed by the not for profit Tofino Harbour Authority (THA) as part of the Small Craft Harbour's program, our 4th Street facility is a Department of Fisheries and Oceans designated Core Commercial Fishing Harbour. Pay per use facilities for registered harbour users include; boat launch, parking, crane, showers, laundry and washrooms. Townsite Marina is Nanaimo’s premier marina, located at the entrance to Newcastle Channel, part of the spectacular waterfront that defines the Harbour City. Townsite Marina offers the discerning boater the best-maintained, 205-slip marina in Newcastle Channel, with a full-time on-site Marina Manager contributing to our safe and secure facility. Townsite Marina’s location in beautiful Nanaimo allows convenient access to some of the most spectacular and scenic cruising destinations of eastern Vancouver Island. Townsite Marina is conveniently located, highly accessible and features affordable rates that compare favourably to marinas in both Vancouver and Victoria. Townsite Marina offers monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual moorage for vessels ranging in size from 12 to 70 feet. The marina has metered 30 and 50 amp power. Coin operated showers and laundry facilities are also available onsite. Storage lockers located in a heated and secure building have 24 hour access. Ucluelet has some fantastic boat moorage options from private to municiple, the town docks are very well kept with the inner boat basin docks having a beautiful cleaning station that was just added in 2011! There is lots of parking and the village of Ucluelet continues with upgrades from bathrooms and shower facilities to one of the official weigh in stations for the summer long Salmon Ladder Derby! There are several other district dock locations along the harbour front should the inner boat basin be at peak capacity. Summer months are the only time in advanced reservations may be a good idea, it's not a necessity as you will find moorage somewhere during peak months in Ucluelet.

Vancouver Marina is conveniently located on the Middle Arm of the Fraser River in Richmond, BC. Seven miles from the mouth of the North Arm (roughly 20 minutes in the average boat). Eight minute walk from the Bridgeport Canada Line station. Five minute drive from the Vancouver Airport (YVR). Conveniently located at the entrance to the marina is our fuel dock with expert staff to assist you. The fuel dock has expert staff to assist you in and out of the fuel dock, and to ensure that your refuelling process is safe and easy! The fuel dock features a store decked out with lots of gear!

Located on the North West side of Salt Spring Island, the Vesuvius Bay facility is located immediately to the north of the Vesuvius BC Ferry terminal in waterlot 241, Cowichan District. This float is primarily used by transient boaters and is a popular spot during the summer. Transient rates are posted at the wharfhead and an honor pay box with payment envelopes provided. A wharfinger regularly attends the facility to collect fees from the honor box and to note any maintenance requirements. There are no services available but emergency electrical service can be accessed by contacting the Harbour Office. Night illumination is provided and bus service and parking is available. A licensed restaurant with take-out and a coffee shop are within walking distance. There are also some short hiking trails starting in the parking lot. It consists of a set of steps leading to a 36.6m long wooden pedestrian approach trestle, a pedestrian-only access wharfhead which is 3.lm by 6.lm, a gangway which is 11m long and 1.2m wide and a treated wood pontoon float which is 4.3m wide and 12.2m long. This is a great public marina to launch canoes and kayaks. The parking right next to the dock is reserved for the Nicomekl Rowing Club, but there are about three spots in that lot where people may park for up to 15 minutes to unload their car-top boats. There is free public parking that's a short walk away from the dock to the west. The park's most important ecosystem is its wetland, including the tidal Nicomekl River, a salmon-bearing creek, and many ponds and marshes. Wetland habitats are rare in British Columbia, so take care by staying on trails and keeping dogs on leash at all times. By doing so, you will also protect the many animals (including shorebirds, barn owls and fish) that live here.

West Vancouver Marina is located in Fisherman's Cove in West Vancouver, just north of Light House Park. The marina offers annual and seasonal moorage with great access to the beautiful boating and fishing destinations. Customers would enjoy the convenience of an on-site gas station and access to a full service boatyard with a travel lift. All slips are equipped with shore power and water service.

Planning to visit West Vancouver Yacht Club with your boat, as a member of a reciprocal yacht club? We would be happy to host you in a slip vacated by one of our members, if moorage is temporarily available. We are located at 49 21'26" N and 123 16'16"W, which is in the well-protected waters of Fisherman's Cove in West Vancouver.
