Branford Landing Marina is conveniently located on the western shore of the meandering Branford River, as the last marina on the navigable, dredged channel. This location provides our marina a unique sheltered and protected home for your boat. Shoreside is an attractive waterfront restaurant with a patio right off the docks. Our marina has a large series of re-purposed factory buildings to provide extensive inside boat storage, facilities and work sheds. We offer a wide range of boatyard services such as: gas, diesel engine repair and maintenance, Brightwork, Painting, Woodworking, Hull repairs, Generator and AC repair, propeller repair, Crane, Travelift (50T), Forklift. We maintain floating docks, a combination of "alongside" and slips with full finger piers and roomy, quite nice heads are in the most southern of the old brick buildings. The boat storage facility occupies the brick factory building. Please note: The Branford railroad station is practically next door (Shore Line connects to Metro North in New Haven). This is the closest marina to the pretty village of Branford and to provisioning and services. The village, which offers some interesting shops and eating possibilities, is about 0.3 mile and a supermarket is 0.9 mile away.

Founded in 1909, the Branford Yacht Club is located near the mouth of the Branford River. The marina consists of five docks and twenty-three river stakes that can accommodate yachts as large as sixty feet. The club offers membership to those residents of New Haven County at least twenty-one years of age. The beautiful buildings and grounds are meticulously maintained by both the members and the staff of the Branford Yacht Club. Cardinal Cove Marina offers 8 moorings and 24 shallow water slips. Our docks and moorings are nestled along the shores of Collins Cove, a well protected area that also allows quick access to Long Island and Block Island Sound’s best fishing locations. Boaters should note that there is a 6ft. height restriction in order to pass under the bridges to access our marina. For boaters looking to stretch their legs, downtown Stonington provides a variety of activities. The town offers multiple restaurants, beaches, and art galleries. There is a grocery store nearby if you need provisions as well.

Caswell Cove Marina is a private marina catering to its slip owners and our seasonal slip renters. Newcomers are welcome, we have approximately 70 slips available for seasonal rental and also have select slips available to purchase. We cater only to our seasonal members and do not have transient berths. Boat owners enjoy the security of 24-hour video surveillance and an electronic keytag access system. A dedicated paved and lighted parking area provides convenient and secure access to the marina. Located at the end of Whitfield Street, at the mouth of the East River, is the Guilford Town Marina. Certified as one of the first Connecticut Clean Marinas it has 122 slips and 14 river moorings. The marina offers convenient access to Long Island Sound. There are scenic views of Grass Island, Faulkner’s Island, and the East River marsh. A paved launch ramp with good water depth at any tide is located in the ENE corner of the parking lot. A fee applies to all launches: $8.00 for a day launch, $40.00 for a season hand launch pass, $80.00 for a season trailer launch pass. Transient boat slips are very limited. Milford Yacht Club maintains the charm of an old fashioned boating club while providing modern amenities such as a full service restaurant, swimming pool and marina. Members and their guests enjoy coming in from a day of yachting, then cooling off in the pool before relaxing on the deck with drinks before dinner. Often the clubhouse is jumping with the excitement of a weekend regatta or grooving to the live music on a Sunday afternoon. Our Visitor Info The Milford Yacht Club (MYC) is located at 131 Trumbull Ave in Milford, CT and is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting interest in yachting and related social activities. It is dependent for its well-being and successful operation on the support and cooperation of its members and their guests. Please observe our House Rules, copies are posted outside the Dock Office. Members of recognized yacht clubs and participants in Club sponsored events who register as guests of MYC shall be entitled to use of Club facilities subject to House Rules. House Guest cards shall be issued through the Secretary to House Guests of members for up to a two (2) week period. Guest cards for longer periods may be applied for through the Secretary and the House Committee in writing. The definition of a “House Guest” is anyone who is occupying a member’s residence strictly as guest. The member must accompany their guest. Members are responsible for the behavior of their guests. In advance of each visit, reciprocal guests must present a letter of introduction from their home club and must receive confirmation from our office. Our office staff is available to confirm reciprocal guest visits during regular business hours. Upon arrival reciprocal guests must sign the guestbook in the clubhouse and present their current membership card to our staff. Reciprocal guests may not bring additional guests. Private Marina Palmer Landing Marina is located in the Shippan area of Stamford, approximately one mile south of downtown and within convenient distance to most of the attractions which Stamford has to offer, including restaurants, bars, shopping (retail and grocery). The marina is located in a private community with parking, refuse disposal, and other amenities. The marina is located 33 miles north of Old Saybrook. The river isn't difficult to navigate but those new to the river are advised to stay within the wide channel, which is well marked. The swing bridge at Haddam provides approximately 15 ft. clearance at normal high tide and opens for pleasure boat traffic on the half-hour. Portland is an ideal stop for those cruising to Hartford, which is 20 miles farther north. The cruise to Hartford passes through some of the most beautiful sections of the Connecticut River. Portland Riverside is the winter home to hundreds of boats up to 50 feet. Inside storage is available on a first-come basis. Outside storage is plentiful and shrink-wrapping is available. For fitting out in the spring, most locations have water and electric available. The marina's large open travel lift makes it possible to haul most sailboats without mast removal. If desired, masts can be removed and re-stepped with the marina's large crane. They are stored in plastic and under cover.

Ragged Rock Marina was developed in 1973 by Donald Van Epps, who had a vision of the marsh being a viable possibility for a marina. Ragged Rock Marina is a relaxed yard, allowing boat owners to work on their own boats, and employ outside contractors to service their vessels, which most marinas don't allow. Though, yard mechanics are available upon request. We have just recently purchased a new 25 ton marine travel lift, which enables us to haul, launch, and store larger vessels. Ragged Rock is located just past the railroad bascule bride. On the western shore is the entrance to the half-mile long channel that accesses Ragged Rock's extremely well-protected, deep, virtually enclosed basin. Once inside, the environment is quiet, rural and "boat yard"; views are of the surrounding marsh, with its stands of sea oats, and the basin which is literally filled with docks. . Ample electric is available from 30, 50 to 100 amp service. Additionally, the marina has 55 moorings, which are serviced by the marina’s launch. Safe Harbor's Dauntless Marina was originally known as the Essex Paint and Chemical Company in the 1920s — until a fire destroyed the building in 1924. It was rebuilt and continued operation until 1986. The original Chandlery of Essex was constructed in 1924, and operated successfully for decades. It was eventually acquired by the Brewer Yacht Yard group in 2008 before joining the Safe Harbor family of marinas in 2017.

Dauntless Shipyard, c.1917, was named for the schooner Dauntless, one of the late-1800s America's Cup yachts. The yard developed a strong reputation building many wooden vessels until the late 1930s. The Cove is the only sheltered cove with deep water access to the Connecticut River upriver from Essex. Wethersfield Cove offers both the avid and recreational boater a wonderful opportunity to access a quintessential New England town. The Town of Wethersfield allows visitors to take a step back in time to Historic Wethersfield while also serving as a doorstep to the cultural opportunities that abound in Hartford. Its central location within the state makes it an ideal transient facility site. The Marina facility includes a boat launch ramp, 51 permanent transient boater moorings, a tender dock, and 7 slips available to transient boaters with boats up to 34 feet in length. There are also moorings and tender cleats available for seasonal rental by the general public. Pump-out service is available at the dock on weekends from 6:00 am - 7:00 pm. Yankee Boat Yard & Marina, Inc. is a full service boat yard and marina located along the Connecticut River in Portland, CT. Our location has a long history, originally as a boat building operation in the early 1920’s and 30’s, and as a boat yard from that time up until the present. We have approximately 50 slips along the river and we accommodate up to 30 boats on ball moorings for our summer boaters. In the winter, Yankee Boat Yard has capacity to store up to 400 boats on land including indoor cold storage as well as indoor heated storage. We have new, spacious state-of-the-art facilities for our mechanical, paint & fiberglass repair, woodworking, welding & metal fabrication shops. There is a parts department and a fully stocked ship’s store on site to service the needs of our marine customers. Anything you might not see in stock, please ask. We can get it for you for the next day. Our service employees undergo continuing education programs to keep up with the on-going technological advances of the boating industry.
