What a massive harbour Dover harbour is. The outermost part of the harbour is affected by the tide. The inner harbour(marina) has gate's on it to keep the water in it as the tide goes out. Dover harbour has all the facilities a harbour needs,including a boat crane. Ample parking for visitors. So much is going on,if you have no boat no problem just enjoy.
