In this port, there is great interest in fixed bench rowing (Municipal Sailing School, San Xoán de Tirán Rowing Club). Moaña is the starting point for excursions through the O Morrazo peninsula. In this town stands the beautiful Romanesque church of San Martiño. A visit to Monte Faro Domaio is a must, with a splendid viewpoint, in whose surroundings there are archaeological remains.
