Hebe Haven Yacht Club

Marina in Sai Kung District
About Hebe Haven Yacht Club Established in 1963, The Hebe Haven Yacht Club has been providing yachting and boating facilities as a private members club in the picturesque bay of Pak Sha Wan in Sai Kung for over 50 years. The surrounding coastline and nearby islands in Port Shelter provide some of the best sailing waters and beaches in Hong Kong. Since its inception, the Club’s main objectives are to provide first class boating facilities and yacht racing events for members together with the development of youth sailing. Members have worked hard to maintain the friendly character of the Club. Most members are water sports and boating enthusiasts and the Club’s boatyard, where members can carry out annual maintenance work on their boats, is always a centre of activity. The Club has a reputation for its friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The Restaurant is well known for its culinary delights and ambience, with a very extensive menu to suite all tastes. The bar has always been a popular venue for relaxation and meeting new friends while The Balcony, providing a touch of alfresco, has been the location of choice for “Sundowners” just before dinner. The Garden Bar is a glorious location for BBQ's and outdoor parties, events and weddings. The Club has comprehensive marine facilities at very competitive prices. It currently has fully serviced alongside berths in the Marina, swing moorings and hardstanding with slipping and craning services for boat repair and maintenance in the boatyard. Yacht racing is very popular amongst members and races are held almost every weekend. The Club’s blue ribbon racing event is the Typhoon Series which is the biggest summer regatta in Hong Kong attracting a significant number of entrants from all over Hong Kong every year. Everybody is invited to participate and there is always a need for extra crew. The Club proactively promotes sailing to children through the “Development Fund for Youth Sailing” program at the Sail Training Center. With a fleet of over 40 dinghies, there are sailing courses for both adults and children as well as an extensive school sailing program. Since 2002, the 24HR Charity Dinghy Race has become an annual event at Hebe Haven, with junior sailors competing and raising money for various charities in Hong Kong. If you are interested in joining our Club, you are very welcome to come for a Club tour. Please contact the General Office and we will show you a hidden nautical treasure.
