About Port du Crouton
This natural harbour was originally used by fishermen from Antibes during the fishing season. Many boats anchored there, as it was sheltered from the wind. In the 1970s, two associations shared the little port and as a result the place had a lively village atmosphere, with many an evening spent over an aperitif, some fish soup or a game of French bowls...In 1984, management of the port was taken over by the local authorities. Since then many changes have been made to ensure that the port meets the required standards and complies with maritime regulations. Today it boasts 350 moorings for small craft and meets the requirements for “Port Propre” (“Clean Port”) certification.
