About Port of Bordeaux Verdon
Situated on Europe’s largest estuary, Bordeaux Atlantic Port enjoys a prime location on the Atlantic front. The port features seven specialized terminals with connections to five continents. Port Terminal of Verdon The Verdon site, a deep-water foreport (with a 12.5-meter draft), offers extensive dockside land and a 12,000 m² warehouse. It supports logistics for industrial bulk (like aggregates), heavy cargo, and large cruise ships, featuring three berths, two container gantries, and a ro-ro ramp. A rail link connects the terminal directly to Bordeaux's urban area. With a 59-hectare free zone, Verdon benefits from streamlined customs procedures and strategic tax advantages.
