Located in gorgeous Brentwood Bay, Portside Marina was first opened in 1927 by Harry Gilbert as Gilbert's Boathouse. Saanich Inlet was a premier fishing location and at the age of 13, Harry's son, Jim Gilbert, started guiding and went on to become an acclaimed fishing guide.
