We cannot accommodate sailboats or boats over 30'.

Founded in 1956, Great Bay Marine is New Hampshire Seacoast’s only year-round, full-service boating facility. Located six miles up the Piscataqua River, we serve Rockingham county, plus surrounding counties and states along the New England Seacoast. For over 30 years, Hampton River Marina has offered quick access to the Atlantic Ocean and the area's richest fishing grounds. We are located nearby to Newburyport, the Salisbury Beach Reservation, Crane's Beach in Ipswich, Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester and Rockport Harbor. Guests enjoy quick walking access to Hampton Beach Village attractions, including many restaurants, entertainment and shopping venues. Amenities include rack storage, summer and winter wet and dry storage, launches, haul outs and a 25-ton travel-lift.

About 1.9 miles northward of Dover Point, on the west bank, is a boatyard and marina with space for transients. A marine travel lift can handle craft to 35 tons and 65 feet in length. Both open and indoor winter storage is available. Marine supplies, professional marine services, a fuel dock and restaurant are also available.

Part of the heart of the fishing industry of Portsmouth. Pretty much every day, you can see activity here. Lobsterman, crab fishers, regular fishing, and sometimes the tall ships have been here for people to visit. The best view is from the Pierce Island Bridge. A memorial to Lost fisherman is nearby the buildings. The memorial is open to the public.

Located on the Piscataqua River, Portsmouth Yacht Club was founded in 1898 in Portsmouth, NH, and moved to its present location in New Castle, NH, in 1938. Our facilities include a full kitchen, outdoor grills and refreshing showers as well as fuel for your vessel. The fuel dock is open 7 days a week in season and is available to all boaters. Our club members and staff will provide a welcoming atmosphere for visiting yachtsmen. Transient moorings, located in front of the club as well as in Pepperrell Cove in Kittery, ME, are serviced by our launches that will bring you to the club or the Pepperrell Cove docks. Although the clubhouse is open seasonally, the membership is active year round. Our annual activities include club races and cruises, many social functions, weekly dinners in summer, as well as family events, all of which are always well attended. Publicly available docking space is available at Prescott Park on the Piscataqua River in Portsmouth. Reservations are possible. The dock is governed by city ordinance. The dockmasters monitor VHF Channel 09, and notice of arrivals is requested. List of amenities below may be nearby and not specifically on site. Dock space may be reserved by the hour, you will need to request the amount of time. Limited 30 amp spaces are available, you will need a 30 to 50 amp splitter for other slips. Reservations for overnight may be made online by using Dockwa.

Portsmouth is a great walking city and this location puts you at the heart of the waterfront. The marina docks lead right onto Bow Street in the city center which is truly a pleasure to visit. Downtown Portsmouth is rich with history, arts, entertainment and numerous restaurants and pubs.The city is a destination in and of itself. Your slip is a great place to watch the commercial ships and tugboats pass by as the sun sets over historic Badger’s Island, Maine’s southernmost point. Marina at Harbour Place is just passed the new Memorial Bridge, which can be reached on VHF Channel 13, or wait for the preplanned opening every half hour during the daytime. Please note the current is strong here. But, it is parallel to the docks so if you just stem the current, even a beginner can make a perfect landing every time. For the easiest approach do not attempt to dock with a following current. If you are able, plan to arrive during slack tide.
