Spiegelzicht Marina is beautifully situated on one of the cleanest waters in the Netherlands, namely: De Spiegel- & Blijkpolder, also known as De Spiegelplas. Created by peat excavations and deepened (approx. 50 meters) by sand suction. The Spiegelplas is approximately 220 hectares in size and has incredibly clean and clear water. A wonderful place for recreation, for example: swimming at one of the many beaches, walking, cycling, sailing with your motor boat and mooring on an island and enjoying the tranquillity, but of course, also sailing, surfing, fishing, diving, etc. The lake is opened up by “De Zanderijsluis” and you arrive at the river De Vecht. The home of your ship, our port Jachtwerf “De Wijde Blick” is a practical marina with 75 berths located on the Kortenhoefse Plassen. The harbour has two toilets and a shower. There is parking on-site and the site is secured by a gate, which closes automatically at 5:00 PM and reopens at 7:30 AM in the morning. From the harbour, you will immediately enter the open waterway “De Wijde Blik”. There are several islands on this lake where you can recreate and spend the night. The location of this harbor is unique, situated on the Dijk with a large terrace in front of the door. Our new restaurant will open from season 2021, and you can enjoy a drink and snack here. Today we are located on the Fortuinstraat in Amsterdam, but started more than 55 years ago on the Kattenburgervaart. Shortly after it was founded, we moved to the other side on the Wittenburgerkade. And after a few years we got a new place on the other side of Wittenburg; about the same place where we are now housed.

In the clubhouse, you will find toilets and showers. These are open all day and are included in the stay for up to four passengers. The light will turn on automatically when you enter. Watersport Vereniging Sloterplas is a non-profit association/marina with a rich past, responding to current developments and focusing on the future. The WSV de Zeevang is a beautiful marina right on the Markermeer. The picturesque town of Edam, which is not as touristy as Volendam and Marken, has shops and a variety of cafes and restaurants. You can reach it on foot or by bike, which you can borrow at the port.

The Navy Commission (JHC) organizes summer storage, winter storage, and a 4-week period, including planning and tracking of changes for all ships. The actual parking and launching are done by the boat owners/members themselves. The JHC also performs all maintenance and renovation work on the association's buildings and grounds.
