Very Small Drying Fishing Harbour Annagassan is a village located in the County Louth, Ireland. It is situated at the point where the River Glyde meets the Irish Sea. According to the 2022 census, the population of Annagassan is 189. Annagassan is a beautiful fishing village that has a lively harbour containing several fishing vessels that sail during the summer months to catch crab claws and other types of seafood. The town is well served by public transport for those venturing northward to Dublin Airport, Dublin Ferryport, Dublin City centre or southwards to Wexford town centre and Rosslare Ferry port – these destinations are less than 2 hours travel by bus/train. On-site marina services provide for security, hard standing, cranage, power, fresh water, toilet and shower facilities. Other services such as fuel, gas, chandlery and provisions are all within a short distance of the Marina facility. Adjacent to the marina is Arklow Sailing Club and its facilities, and Bridgewater Shopping Centre which has all your shopping needs including ATM, restaurants, pharmacy, internet facilities and a multi-cinema complex. The town’s main street with its many public houses is 250m from the Marina. Onshore activities include golfing and cycling.

The marina in Athlone is located between the town bridge and the railway bridge, setting the standard for other marinas on the Shannon. It has a mooring capacity of 70+ cruisers and is within easy access of the town centre. The development includes an attractive reception area with showers, baby changing facilities, and soon to be installed laundry facilities. Private landscaped garden also available. Security service operates between 08.00 and midnight.
