This is a great public marina to launch canoes and kayaks. The parking right next to the dock is reserved for the Nicomekl Rowing Club, but there are about three spots in that lot where people may park for up to 15 minutes to unload their car-top boats. There is free public parking that's a short walk away from the dock to the west. The park's most important ecosystem is its wetland, including the
