The Hood River Marina offers a protected harbor for boats with access to the Columbia River and is a hub of local recreation and activity. As part of Port Marina Park, Marina facilities include year-round and transient moorage for various-sized vessels, a public boat launch, fuel dock (with water and pump-out station), and the Yacht Club Building on the east end of the Hood River waterfront recreation area. In addition to moorage, the Marina area hosts youth sailing lessons and small watercraft launching for kayaks, outrigger canoes, rowing skulls, small sail craft and stand up paddle boards. Yacht club and sport activities combine to make the Marina a bustling, family-friendly facility complete with nearby park areas, lawn, beach and trails that provide areas for play, sports, or passive enjoyment. Access to the Boat Marina is through Port Marina Park on the north side of Interstate-84 at Exit 64 and State Highway 35 near the Hood River Interstate Bridge. The Hood River Marina currently offers close to 160 boat slips for long-term moorage in a secure facility. Slips are categorized for boats 30 feet and under in length, over 30 – 45 feet in length, and over 45 feet in length with a 66-feet maximum. A limited number of seasonal slips are offered on the South Basin Dock for boats under 20 feet in length. NO ANCHORING allowed in the Marina Basin. All vessels that enter the Marina Basin must have current registrations and with the numbers affixed to the hull. Overnight vessels are welcome at the Guest Dock only and must pay at the drop box at the top of the boat ramp. The Visitor Dock is available for short-term moorage for vessels under 60 feet in length on a first-come basis (overnight fees apply based on length of vessel). The North Dock is reserved for Vessels 60 feet and over and small cruise ship vessels that visit Hood River.

Big Eddy Marina is located on the Columbia River east of downtown Portland. It is a floating home community and all homes are owner occupied only. There are boat slips available for year round and seasonal moorage. Big Eddy Marina is the choice for fishing and boating recreationalist looking for a Columbia River boat slip for rent. Located on the eastside of Portland OR near the south side of the Columbia River at river mile 117, Big Eddy features a variety of well-maintained boat slips for rent and eliminates the hassles of public boat launches. Boardman Park & Recreation District is considered a local Government Special District with a 5-member elected Board of Directors. We manage over 100 acres of public lands which include 5 free day-use areas with softball and soccer fields, a splash pad, playgrounds, sand volleyball, horseshoe pits, 5 restrooms, swimming areas, boat docks, boat lunch, marina, picnic shelters, a 3.4-mile paved walking trail, 75 spaces of public campground and recently the district has put in a 18 hole disc golf course (Sponsored by The Boardman Chamber of Commerce). On July 1st, 2017, the district opened a 43,000 sq. ft recreation center that has a pool, 2 basketball courts, an aerobics room, multipurpose room, a rock climbing wall, and a weight room. The recreation center provides swim lessons, kids programming, workout classes, parties, and day-use of the recreation center. Boones Ferry Marina is located in Aurora, OR, 18 miles south of Portland and 21 miles north of Salem. Just off the I-5 at exit 282. Moorage includes 98 in-water mooring spaces. Most have power, water and lockable dock boxes. A public boat ramp runs through the middle of the moorage and there is a fuel dock and pump-out station at the docks. Parking is located directly in front of the downriver half of the moorage and is limited to vehicles displaying a parking permit that comes with your Membership.

City of Rainier has Marina Slip openings. Inquire at Rainier City Hall, 106 W 'B' Street or call City Hall. Maximum length boat space is 26'. Located on the Oregon shore of North Portland Harbor, Columbia Way West offers 76 slips and side-tie berths for boats up to 45 feet. While sailboats are in the majority, Columbia Way West welcomes small power boats, ski boats, fishing boats and small cuddy cabin vessels, as well as kayaks and canoes. A row of 14 floating homes overlooks the moorage. At Columbia Way West you will find ample free parking and won't have to battle I-5 traffic.

Coon Island Marina, located in Scappoose, OR, is a publicly accessible waterfront facility that offers access to the water and provides space to moor or dock boats and yachts. In addition to docking and storage, the Marina provides services such as fuel and marine supplies, maintenance service and boat repair, and bilge and sewage pumping. The Marina also offers services such as boat rentals, boat operation and safety instruction classes, and additional amenities.

Hadley’s Landing is located in Multnomah Channel, 3.7 miles below the confluence with the Willamette River. This marine facility is dedicated to the memory of James A. Hadley (1920-1983). Jim served as director of the state marine board, 1974-1977, he provided Oregon’s boaters with outstanding service as an administrator, teacher, and friend. He had a deep personal and professional commitment to safe and enjoyable boating on Oregon’s waterways. This moorage is one of a series provided throughout the Portland metropolitan region to serve as destination tie-up facilities for the use and enjoyment of all boaters. It was provided by the Oregon State Marine Board in cooperation with the Port of Portland and Oregon State Parks Division.

Lane County Parks marina Orchard Point County Park is located just east of Richardson on the north side of Fern Ridge reservoir, is 58 acres in size. Its day use facilities include two swimming areas, a 221-slip marina, play structures, and several group picnic facilities. There is are seasonal watercraft rentals, a volleyball net and horseshoe pits.

Paradise Moorage is located in Scappoose Oregon, just off of Johnson Landing Road. Paradise is a secluded moorage with approximately 60 homes. The moorage has a lovely view of the Multnomah Channel, is within a short walking distance to Mark’s On The Channel restaurant, and also has a view of Sauvie’s Island. It is owned by Jeff Ingbrigsten. The slips are leased to the floating home owners. The size and slip fee’s vary. The moorage has excellent pilings which are steel and which are also very high so the homes are protected against potential release during flooding. Pets are welcome at Paradise, but dog size is limited to under 30 pounds. The Moorage fee includes sewer, water, trash service, maintenance and parking. The Moorage is served by a well for water, and has an on site sewer system that pumps into a septic area and drain field. Each home has its own ‘honey pot’ and the owner is responsible for maintaining the system that serves their own house.

We stayed on the visitors dock right across from the Coast Guard station on our trip down the coast in October 2019. Dock was a little rough, and shared with fishing vessels, but we were happy to be here to wait out some weather. Fuel was very inexpensive at the fuel dock right next to us. The entrance was fairly narrow but we had very calm conditions both on the way in and out. The biggest hazard was the number of small fishing boats working the channel and the jetty! This is reputed to be the safest bar crossing on the Oregon Coast. We did not use the marina facilities beyond the fuel dock and used oil dump, located on the S end of the basin. We did buy Tuna from a fishing boat in the marina, and the captain was kind enough to make me a lure and hand line setup from his stock on the boat, for the price of materials.

An easily accessible fuel dock and proximity to the ocean make the Port of Newport Marina & RV Park one of the best places on the Oregon Coast to moor a pleasure craft. Within walking distance of the Marina visitors can explore art galleries, museums, restaurants, and locally owned shops. Port of Toledo marina is 14 river miles from Newport. Please call the Port office for availability and rental information. Transient Dock Moorage is available for up to 45’ vessels, for up to 10 days maximum stay per calendar year. A free pump-out dump station is maintained through a Maintenance Assistance Grant from the Oregon State Marine Board. A combination of State and Federal grants through the Oregon State Marine Board funded construction of the Transient Dock in 2012. Please note: There is 54’ clearance at 0 tide under the GP tube.

Lane County Parks Marina At 115 acres, Richardson Park is the largest developed park in the County Parks system. It is accessible by major roads in all directions, and is the closest RV campground to the cities of Eugene and Veneta. With 88 sites, a large day use area, and three picnic shelters, it is one of the most visited County parks. An 8,000 square-foot picnic shelter was completed in 2004. The three-roofed structure houses a full-service, outdoor kitchen and seats 300 people. Richardson has a 212-slip marina, a swimming area, play structures, game areas, and an outdoor amphitheater.

Occasionally we can take up to 80 foot boats for outside uncovered moorage, enjoy our community gym, community garden area, library/meeting room, laundry facility, storage space, community restrooms and shower facility. Scappoose Moorage is located on the Multnomah Channel with direct access to the Willamette & Columbia River. The Marina is surrounded by an abundance of wild-life, farmland, fishing, Shopping and restaurants also nearby.

Skipanon Marina is the only private marina located near the Mouth of the Columbia River with gated docks and security, giving you access to the best fishing opportunities. 20 & 30 Amp power and water every slip. We currently do not have any sailboat slips available and do not allow living aboard your vessel.

Skyline Marina and Moorage is located in NW Portland right off HWY 30. We offer float homes, long term yacht moorage and seasonal recreation boat slips. Non Covered Boat Slips (some with Electricity) Slip sizes range in length from 22 feet - 40 feet. These make a great option for seasonal fishing and summer river recreation! Live-aboard boats not accepted.

Transient moorage is often available at St. Helens Marina, especially during the spring, summer and fall. Some of our regular tenants, who are off cruising, make their slips available so that we can provide this service to visitors at a modest fee. Included in the temporary moorage will be access to water, power and wi-fi (at most slips) and use of the marina’s secure heated restrooms and showers. Out-of-area visitors will find St. Helens to be a charming area, with available public transportation to Portland and Longview. Several excellent restaurants and a movie theater are within walking distance of the marina. For sailboats heading down the Columbia River, St. Helens Marina is a convenient one-day leg from the Portland area. We think you’ll enjoy the area so much that you’ll want to stay more than one night! We suggest that you call ahead to find out whether we can make moorage available for you upon your arrival.

The Dalles Marina is located on the Columbia River at River Mile Post 190 in the scenic community of The Dalles, Oregon. To access the Marina from land, exit Interstate 84 at exit 85 (“East The Dalles”) and travel North toward the river. Fifty dry storage spots are available if you want to leave your boat trailer for a day or store your motor home or fifth wheel trailer for the winter.

We have several slips for rent and for sale at the Waverly Marina on the Willamette River in Portland, Oregon. Sizes range from 25′ to 50′ and are currently uncovered. The Marina is assessing bringing back covered slips since the ice storm ruined the previous slip covering. Prices for slip sales and rental vary according to size. Call each owner directly for slip rental and sale information. Please note that the slips available for rent change quickly. We do our very best to update the information promptly. NOTE: Waverly Marina Association does NOT allow renters to liveaboard. If you own the slip, you may liveaboard your boat. NOTE: Fueling at the marina is for members and guests only.
