PredictWind Supports One Girl's Ocean Challenge in the Mini Transat 2013
PredictWind is proud to announce our support of Diane Reid in her Single Handed Mini Transat campaign. The challenging race kicks off September 2013 and it will take Diane about 30 days to cross the Atlantic from the Bay of Biscay to Guadeloupe with a brief stopover in The Canary Islands. You can find out more about the race at http://www.classemini.com/
Diane has sailing in her blood and as a 4 year old was hooked to the sport (probably literally) from her first down winder in 30 knots on her family boat. The Mini Transat will be a challenging race and there is a lot of preparation ahead, you can read all about her master plan on the One Girl's Ocean Challenge website.
Diane will use PredictWind's advanced weather forecasts and weather routing technology to help get the edge over the competition.
