NAM 5km now included in Weather Routing

On our mission to provide the most accurate weather data on earth, we’re proud to announce a new addition to our list of high-resolution Weather Routing models. NAM delivers 5km resolution across North America, to give you even greater forecast detail and more accurate Weather Routing.

Supercharged Weather Routing

The Weather Routing tool now becomes even more powerful with the addition of the NAM 5km model. When combined with PWG 1km and PWE 1km models, you now have access to three of the top high resolution models for this part of the world.

Automatic resolution switching

When you select the GFS model in Weather Routing and Departure Planning, they will use the NAM 5km forecast if you are within the model boundary and switch to the GFS 25km global model if your route goes outside the NAM boundary.
