Improved Swell Modelling and New Locations

PredictWind now provides the most advanced Swell Modelling available on the web.

Our new swell model uses the latest technology and now includes forecasts for the Med, Black Sea and Persian Gulf.

By combining our new worldwide 50km forecast with ocean current data we have been able to significantly increase the accuracy of swell forecasts.

New Locations

Swell is now calculated using the latest wave modelling technology which includes forecasts for the Med, Black Sea and Persian Gulf.

Improved Accuracy

With the introduction of the new 50km resolution global wind forecast, we have been able to reduce our swell resolution from 120km down to 50km, and now take into consideration the effect of islands, resulting in even more accurate forecasts, no matter where you are.

The new swell forecasts are available now on the PredictWind forecast site and mobile apps.
