Welcome to Sundsøre Marina At the easternmost point of Salling is Sundsøre Marina, next to the Hvalpsund-Sundsøre ferry dock, a cozy little port that is well protected from the west wind. A fine clubhouse with good facilities provides optimal conditions for the port members themselves and the paying guests coming from the water or land side.

Outdoor kitchen “Kabyssen” “Sejlerstuen” (sailor common room) is available, free of charge for visiting yachtsmen and permanent berth holders. Refrigerator, coffee-maker, assorted cutlery. Mast hoist availble, free of charge for visiting yachtsmen and permanent berth holders. Max.300 kg. Operation at one’s own risk.

Glyngøre Marina. The mooring of boats without crew on board is only allowed by agreement with the captain of the port. Guest boats located in the harbor after kl. A 16-port fee is charged for the next 24 hours. Restrooms for free use and restrooms for a fee via SMS can be found in the Services Building next to the Grill-Café. On a good summer weekend, in the Marina, we have the pleasure of more than 2,500 guests, and annually we reach more than 75,000 visitors. Not surprisingly, Handbjerg Marina is at the forefront as one of the 3 lighthouses in the municipality of Holstebro. In 2018, Handbjerg Marina was ranked third among the most recommended places to visit in Denmark.

Just 50 meters from one of the best beaches in Denmark, you will find Thyborøn Marina.
