This Thursday 22nd, in the morning light winds. During the afternoon the onshore wind will progressively establish into a Southerly flow around 8-12 knots, and could go up to 15 knots. Temperatures up to 27°C over the water and 31°C over land. Afternoon sky will be partly sunny and cloudy.

This Friday 23rd, in the afternoon sunny with Southerly winds around 8-12 knots.

This Friday 23rd, in the morning light and variable winds. In the afternoon the wind will build progressively into a Southerly of 6-12 knots on the race course. It will be sunny all day with temperatures up to 27°C over the water and 31°C over land.

This Saturday 24th, a good racing day is forecasted in the afternoon with Southerly winds of about 10-12 knots with sunshine and warm temperatures.

This Saturday 24th, in the morning light and variable winds. In the afternoon winds from the South in the range 190-200° will blow 10-15 knots on the race course making it another great racing day. It will be sunny with warm temperatures.

This Sunday 25th will see a change of weather conditions. In the afternoon, the strong winds in the Med will weaken towards Barcelona and winds may be light to moderate from East/South-East on the race course. Cloudy day with temperatures few degrees colder.

This Sunday 25th, in the afternoon the strong Northerly winds in the Med will turn and weaken towards Barcelona. On the race course the winds will come from East/East-South-East direction. Wind strength is a bit uncertain and we should get around 6-12 knots with a possible increase by the end of the afternoon, with gusts up 18 knots. Cloudy day with temperatures few degrees colder. A little chance of rain could affect the wind.

This Thursday 29th, in early afternoon winds from the East should blow around 7-9 knots over the race course. During the afternoon the wind is expected to turn right and settle in a South-East direction with not much change in wind strength. Sea state will be relatively calm with 0.5 meter coming from the East with a 3 second period. The sky will be partly cloudy with temperatures reaching 26°C over the water and 29° over land.

This Friday 30th, similar conditions are expected than the previous day. The winds from East/South-East will be light around 5 to 10 knots with calm sea and cloudy sky.


We will see similar conditions to the previous day. During the early afternoon winds from the East will blow around 6 to 9 knots. The wind direction is expected to turn right during the afternoon and to end up with a South-East direction with similar wind speed. Sea state will remain calm. It will be partly cloudy with temperatures reaching 26°C over the water and 29° over land.

In the afternoon, winds from the East around are expected around 8 to 10 knots.


For the afternoon, winds around 7 to 10 knots from an Easterly direction should allow to get more racing in. Wind direction will start from the East and may trend to the right into a more South-East direction. Sea state will be relatively calm with waves around half a meter coming from the South-East direction 130° with a 3 to 4 second’s period. It will be partly cloudy with warm temperatures like the previous day.


Forecast is a bit uncertain at the moment with possible rain around Barcelona at some point during the day. The afternoon should see light conditions to be confirmed.


In the morning some showers around Barcelona will be gone for the racing. This unsettled weather in the morning makes the wind forecast a bit uncertain for the afternoon. In the early afternoon, the wind is expected East-North East around 6 to 10 knots. It will trend right into a more East-South-East. The sea state will be relatively calm with waves around 0.5 meter. The sky should be clearing up and sunshine will make a comeback in late afternoon.


A high level trough with cold air in altitude will bring instability with agitated weather over Barcelona for the next days. Tuesday may see a chance of showers around mid-day. The afternoon will be dry and cloudy with some uncertainty on the wind forecast. For the racing, most models forecast a weak Easterly around 4 to 7 knots, but a few high-resolution models see a bit more wind ranging 8 to 12 knots coming more from the East-North-East. Sea state will remain calm. Temperatures will be few degrees colder with a maximum of 28°C over land and 26°C over the water.


The weather will deteriorate and we expect rain with a risk of heavy rain and thunderstorm for the day. A strong Northerly wind in the Med will weaken and turn right before reaching Barcelona, bringing waves to the race course just shy of 1 meter with 4 second period. In the afternoon, the wind forecast is a bit uncertain and we expect a North-East wind 5 to 10 knots in average, but stronger under the convective cells.


The instability will be gone with a return to normal conditions. The morning will have offshore winds that will turn left around mid-day. For the afternoon, the winds will establish from the South-South-West 200° and are expected around 8 to 12 knots. A calm sea of 0.4 meter will come with a partly cloudy sky and air temperature reaching not more than 26°C over land and 24°C over the water.


The morning will see light winds. By mid-day the wind will establish slowly into a Southerly direction and we expect wind speed to increase during the afternoon up to 8-12 knots while trending right to South-South-West. There will be a residual sea state from the previous day with waves around 1 meter coming from the East-South-East 120° with a 5 second period. The waves will not be aligned with the wind during the racing. The sky will completely clear out during the day and the afternoon will be sunny with temperatures reaching up to 29°C over land and 26° over the water.


The instability will return to Barcelona on Sunday. There is a risk of thunderstorm and lightning for the day. Winds from North-East around 10 knots are expected in average, but with stronger gusts under rain cells. Sea state will remain at 1 meter.


The instability will be gone and the weather will be back to normal. The winds will be offshore in the morning from the North-West driven by a large-scale pressure gradient. Around mid-day, the wind will die out and a southerly breeze will fight to establish. Wind speeds are excepted light and shifty around 4 to 8 knots with waves of half a meter with 4 second period from the South-East. Those could make tricky conditions to stay up on foil. It will be sunny all day with temperatures up to 27°C on land and 24° on the water.


In the morning, there is a weak offshore wind from the North-West. In the afternoon, we expect a South-South-West wind from 200° to build progressively in strength. By early afternoon the wind speed around 6 knots should increase up to 12 knots by late afternoon.
Waves of 0.6 meter from the East direction at 5-second interval are linked to a strong Northly wind way offshore. Those waves will be roughly 90° to the wind direction.
It will be a perfect sunny day with air temperature up to 25°C on land and 22° on the water.


Sunday will see a repeat of the previous day. The Southerly breeze will come in the afternoon with similar strength. Sunny sky and nice temperatures should make a great racing day.


After mid-day, the South-South-West breeze from the direction 200° will come in and increase during the afternoon around 8-12 knots. Sea state will be calm with 0.5 meter wave from the East with 4-second period. Perfect sunny sky and temperatures up to 26° should make a great racing day.


In the afternoon, we expect light conditions with the Southerly breeze having a harder time to establish like the previous days. Winds of about 6 knots are forecasted at this stage. Flat sea, clear sky, and similar temperatures should be present on the race course.


In the morning, the wind will be offshore from the North-West. The afternoon breeze is expected 9 to 13 knots from a general Southerly direction. The wind will increase during the afternoon and the increase will be associated with a right direction trend to 200°. Sea state will be calm with some wind chop developing in the afternoon. It will be partly cloudy and temperatures up to 26°C.


In the early afternoon, we expect light and variable winds and a South-East flow 5 to 10 knots should establish later  later onon. Waves of 1 meter from the East with 5-second period. It will be cloudy with temperatures up to 24°C.
The weather should deteriorate at the end of the day and at night, with moderate/strong Easterly winds with risk of rain.


In the morning, a North-East wind gradient will remain after blowing strongly overnight. A risk of rain persists for the morning after the rain overnight. By mid-day the wind should turn right to the East and blow around 5 to 8 knots for the afternoon with gusts up to 12 knots. The wind direction may keep turning right to South-East. Waves of 1 meter from the East with a 6-second period will be present on the race course.
Sky will remain partly cloudy and the temperatures will go up to 24°C over land and 21° over the water.


In the afternoon we expect a South-East breeze around 5 to 8 knots with clear sky and more stable conditions.
