Bekkjarvik Guest Harbor is an idyllic and sheltered guest harbor sheltered from the wind. In both 2007 and 2015, it was named guest harbor of the year. It is constantly being upgraded with more guest seats. The guest berths are in Gamlehavnen in inner Bekkjarvik, Molohavnen by the fishing boats or the new harbor by the church (Leirvikjo)
At Bekkjarvik guest house you can enjoy good food from Norway's best chef brothers, the twins Ørjan and Arnt Johannesen.
Bekkjarvik guest harbor, which is a fishing village and shopping center on the east side of Selbjørn, is a sheltered harbor. There can be a lot of boats here on the summer day, and in 2017 the harbor was expanded so now there are about 200 guest berths here.
Hiking pleasure can be achieved up to Kongsfjellet. It has a height of 185 meters above sea level, and is the highest point on the island of Selbjørn.
The newly laid out park and the beautiful rose garden are also not to be missed. The park offers a variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, in a harmonious combination with decorative ponds and green lawns. The hiking trail through the park is comfortable and adapted for the disabled, and several picnic areas with benches are at your disposal.
At Bekkjarvik Torg you can shop in over 20 stores, and you have the Spar store with a large selection of fresh produce.
Other activities are; Lifestyle center, spa, Brun & Blid, nice nature trails, football field, curling grass field, ball binge, tennis, beach volleyball, Gallery Bekkjarvik.
